- Day 1
Fethiye to Pamukkale
A driver picks you up from your hotel in Fethiye and takes you to Saklikent Gorge, one of Turkey's longest canyons. You'll walk through the gorge with its towering cliff walls and cold water streams running through. If you're interested, there's optional river tubing or swimming available to cool off. After spending time in the gorge, you'll head to Pamukkale for the night.

Pamukkale to Cappadocia
This morning starts in Pamukkale, the so-called 'cotton castle' known for its natural hot springs and white travertine terraces built up by mineral deposits over time. You can soak in the pools or take a walk through the landscape and see the formations up close. Later on, you'll travel to Cappadocia and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to rest and get settled before exploring the region tomorrow.

Cappadocia
You have a choice this morning: either wake up early for a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia's fairy chimneys at sunrise, or sleep in and have a relaxed breakfast. During the day, you'll check out the UNESCO-listed Goreme area with its museum, walk through Pigeon Valley, and see Uchisar and Cavusin. By afternoon, you'll visit local artisans working with traditional crafts to see how they create their pieces. If you're interested, there's a Turkish cultural show available this evening.

Cappadocia to Istanbul
Early in the morning, you'll go down into Derinkuyu Underground City, a massive underground complex carved 60 meters below the surface. It has a church, wells, storage areas for food, and old stables all carved into the rock. After exploring, you'll travel to Salt Lake (Tuz Golu), a large white and pink salt lake in central Turkey that's important for birds migrating through the region. Later you'll head to Istanbul, arriving late in the evening.

Istanbul
Have breakfast at your hotel and then check out. The tour finishes here, and you'll say goodbye to the other travelers you've met over the past few days with all the memories you've collected from your time in Turkey.
