Itinerary
- Day 1
São Paulo
You'll land at São Paulo airport where your local guide meets you for the drive to your hotel in the city center. After you settle in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around at your own pace and get your bearings.
- Day 2
São Paulo
Following breakfast, a guided tour takes you through São Paulo's different neighborhoods and key sites including the financial district, the Japanese quarter, and the cathedral. You'll also visit the famous Beco do Batman, a colorful alley known for its street art, where you can book a graffiti workshop if interested.

São Paulo to Paraty
You'll transfer to Paraty on your own in the morning. Once there, take a half-day walking tour through the colonial city's narrow cobblestone streets, stopping at historic buildings, churches, and local artist workshops. Afterward, you have free time to explore more or just relax.

Paraty
After breakfast, head to the harbor for a half-day schooner cruise through Paraty Bay with rainforest views on all sides. You'll have breakfast and then transfer to Rio de Janeiro airport for a flight to Belo Horizonte. A guide meets you for the drive to your hotel in this vibrant city, Brazil's third largest. The evening is free for you to check out the local area.

Belo Horizonte to Ouro Preto
The drive takes you to Ouro Preto where you'll spend the day at the Inhotim Museum, a contemporary art complex combined with botanical gardens. You'll walk through different pavilions with modern art and environmental installations, set among rare tropical plants and Atlantic Forest species.

Ouro Preto

After lunch with traditional Mineiro regional food, you travel to nearby Mariana to walk its colonial streets before heading back to your hotel.

You'll start early for a full-day drive from Ouro Preto to Rio de Janeiro through the Serra dos Órgãos mountain range and Atlantic rainforest. The route stops in Petrópolis at 810m elevation to see Emperor Pedro II's summer palace museum, the cathedral with imperial tombs, and Crystal Palace. You'll arrive in Rio around 6 pm.

Later, ride the cable car up Sugar Loaf Mountain at sunset for panoramic views.

Following breakfast, you travel to Cosme Velho to board a cogwheel train up Corcovado mountain through the Tijuca rainforest. At the top, you'll see the Christ the Redeemer statue and take in panoramic views of Rio. Later you'll visit the beaches at Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon before dinner at Palace Barbecue Restaurant, known for its all-you-can-eat system featuring premium meats and seafood.
