Later, you'll head into the mountains to see Medeo skating rink, then ride another cable car to Shymbulak Ski Resort at 3,200 meters/10,500 feet where the alpine views stretch in all directions before you head back to your hotel for the evening.

Grab lunch at a café near the canyon, then continue to Kolsay Lakes, a mountain paradise in the Tien Shan range. Stop at a village home for homemade lunch on the way back. Then step into the wooden Russian Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity to see its ornate interior. Tour the museum dedicated to Nikolay Przhevalsky, the Russian explorer who mapped much of Central Asia. In the afternoon, you'll drive into the mountains to Jety-Oguz Gorge with its dramatic red cliffs and striking rock formations known as the 'Seven Bulls' and 'Broken Heart.' All the guides were good and the itinerary was comprehensive. The first couple days are pretty tough just because you generally get in early in the morning and start at a normal 9 am time and then the next day driving out to the gas crater, you get home at midnight. So the first couple days you are sleep deprived, but to do it differently you'd be wasting time. I wouldn't change it, but be prepared for a couple of tired days.

Each of the 5 Stan country has their own unique individual cultural and customs but at the same time has similarities due to the fact that they’re once under the governance of the former USSR. Each has their own appeal for tourist’s point of view. Wish to go back but there are more countries to visit.
