Porto Cervo, Sardinia
Porto Cervo comes into view on the Costa Smeralda. Prince Aga Khan built this as a luxury destination back in the 1960s, so you'll find high-end boutiques, fancy restaurants, nightclubs, golf courses, and upscale hotels. The whole place is designed for leisurely exploration at your own speed.

Bonifacio, Corsica
Arriving in Bonifacio, the town appears on top of tall limestone cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean. You can wander through the old town with its narrow lanes and historic buildings, or head up to the citadel for sweeping views. The departure is late, so there's time to stroll around the marina before leaving.

Porto Santo Stefano
The yacht reaches Porto Santo Stefano on the Monte Argentario peninsula in Tuscany. This seaside town has a nice harbour, an old Spanish Fortress, and colourful houses lining winding lanes. You can walk around or just sit and take in views of the Tyrrhenian Sea from the water.

Portoferraio, Elba
You'll arrive at Portoferraio on Elba Island, one of the oldest towns here with history going back to the ancient Greeks. The Medici built most of what you see today in the 1500s. Head to Spiaggia di Capo Bianco beach for white pebbles and clear water, or check out the historic streets, Napoleon's residence at Palazzina dei Mulini, the Archaeological Museum, and Roman ruins. Later in the evening, try Aleatico, a local sweet red dessert wine, while watching the sun go down.

Ibiza

Inland there are limestone hills and pine forests where local producers make artisan goods. With a late departure, grab a cocktail at a waterfront bar and watch the sky turn orange and red as the sun sets.

The soaring Santa Maria Cathedral is worth seeing, along with La Almudaina, a Moorish-style fortress turned royal residence, and the unusual circular Bellver Castle.
