- Day 1
Madrid
You'll arrive in Madrid and get transferred from the airport to your hotel, giving you time to get settled. Later this evening, head over to Plaza Mayor and La Latina where you can pick a restaurant that appeals to you. Spanish tapas are popular in this neighborhood, but you'll also find Indian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern options if you're in the mood for something different.

- Day 2
Madrid
This morning starts with a comprehensive tour of central Madrid covering Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. After that, you'll visit Retiro Park to see the lake and Palacio de Cristal. The afternoon includes entry to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid. You'll have free time after that before heading back to your hotel in the evening.

- Day 3
Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Barcelona
You'll leave Madrid early and travel through Castile toward Zaragoza, stopping to see the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. From there, continue to Poblet Abbey, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries around, with admission included. Later you'll head to Barcelona, arriving by evening.

- Day 4
Barcelona - Girona
Start your morning exploring Barcelona with a tour focusing on the City of Counts, where Gaudí's modernist architecture, the Ramblas, and historic sites are highlighted. In the evening, you'll travel north into Catalonia and walk through Girona's historic center, seeing the colorful houses, old Jewish quarter, and cathedral.

- Day 5
Girona - Arles - Chambéry
Travel through Provence to Arles, a UNESCO World Heritage city with connections to Van Gogh. You'll see the Roman theater and Romanesque churches with time to grab lunch. After that comes Carrières des Lumières, an underground art show set in an ancient quarry with projections and sound. The day ends in Chambéry, a medieval city with a historic center and large castle.

Head to Switzerland and Geneva to see the Palais des Nations, the English Garden with its flower clock, and the Jet d'Eau fountain. Then go to Gruyères, famous for its cheese, and visit the Maison Cailler Chocolate Factory with admission included and a tasting experience. Next comes Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva with entry provided, then continue to Leysin, a charming Alpine village. Dinner is provided.

You'll experience mountain scenery as you take a cable car up to Glacier 3000, one of Switzerland's top spots with year-round ice and snow. There you can walk on the suspended bridge between peaks, check out the Ice Cathedral, or try the Fun Park. Stop in Interlaken for lunch, then travel to Lucerne before arriving in Zurich by evening with time to walk around the center.

- Day 8

Stop in Bellinzona to explore its three medieval UNESCO castles that sit on hills overlooking the city, with free time to wander through the charming center. Head to Como for lunch, known for its lakeside gardens and cathedral. Continue to Milan where your guide shows you Piazza del Duomo before you head to the hotel.

Travel to Pisa and take a small tourist train to Piazza dei Miracoli, where you'll see one of Italy's most notable art complexes including the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then head to Rome, arriving later in the day.

- Day 10
Rome
Join a three-hour guided tour combining a walking section through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour finishes at Vatican City around 11 a.m. In the evening, transfer to Trastevere for dinner at cozy restaurants in that lively neighborhood.

Rome - Florence
Leave Rome and head north to Florence, starting at Piazzale Michelangelo for city views. Walk toward the historic center for lunch, then join a guided walking tour with a local expert visiting Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. This city functions like an open-air museum. You'll have the afternoon to explore at your own pace, then choose from many restaurant options with international cuisines for dinner.

Cross the Apennines enjoying mountain landscapes on the way to Venice. Once there, take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, you'll visit St. Mark's Square, then tour the Murano Glass Factory to see the techniques used in this ancient glass. You'll have free time to explore on your own. You'll stay in the Mestre district.
