London to Durham
Leave London heading north. You'll stop in Cambridge first to see the colleges, then move on to York where there's time to walk around the cathedral, see the Roman walls, and check out the shopping streets. After that, continue to Durham, a medieval town where a cathedral sits overlooking the castle.

Durham to Edinburgh

You'll get a panoramic tour of the capital, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, seeing the castle and the steep streets winding through the city.

- Day 6
Edinburgh to Glasgow
This is a full day through the Scottish Highlands. Grab coffee and take a stroll in Pitlochry early on, then pass through Inverness near Loch Ness. Stop at Urquhart Castle and take a boat ride on the loch, then head through Fort Augustus and Fort William (at the base of Ben Nevis). Travel through high plateaus, past Loch Lomond, and arrive in Glasgow by evening.

Depart Glasgow heading south and board a ferry at Cairnryan for the crossing to Belfast. Once you arrive in Northern Ireland's capital, you'll have free time to explore. The Titanic Museum is worth a visit if you're interested, since it sits in the historic shipyard where the ship was built.

- Day 8
Belfast to Derry
After breakfast, travel through Cushendun, a conservation area along the Antrim Coast known for its architecture. Stop for lunch in Ballycastle, then head to the Giant's Causeway with its 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns. Visit Bushmills, home to the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery, for a guided tour. From there, continue to Derry, a historic walled city.

Travel through mountain scenery into the Republic of Ireland to reach Donegal, where you'll see an impressive medieval castle. Head back to Northern Ireland to visit Marble Arch Caves, one of Europe's major cave systems with over 11 km of passages. After lunch, continue back to Belfast.

- Day 10
Belfast to Dublin
Depart for Hillsborough Castle just outside Belfast, an 18th-century Georgian mansion that's the official government residence in Northern Ireland. Take time to see the gardens, woodlands, and wildflower meadows. After lunch, cross into the Republic of Ireland to visit Monasterboice, an ancient monastic settlement with tall Celtic crosses. You'll arrive in Dublin by mid-afternoon.

Cork to Limerick
