- Day 1
Arrival
You'll get picked up at the airport and driven to your hotel to check in and get settled. After you're comfortable in your room, head down to the reception desk later in the afternoon where they'll fill you in on what's coming up during the tour.

- Day 2
Paris
Start the day at the Palace of Versailles checking out the grounds and the formal gardens. Then drive back into Paris and walk around Montmartre's winding streets where you'll see local artists and historic cabarets. Your guide takes you on a panoramic tour showing off Paris's wide boulevards and major landmarks. If you want, there's an optional show in the evening.

- Day 3
Paris to Rouen
Head to the Eiffel Tower this morning and go up to the second floor to look out over the city. After that, you'll take a relaxing boat ride down the Seine. The afternoon is yours to walk around Paris however you like. Around 4:00 p.m./16:00, the coach departs for Normandy. You'll arrive in Rouen later and can explore the old center with its medieval buildings and the cathedral there.

- Day 4
Rouen to London
Walk through Rouen's historic streets this morning, then head north through the French countryside. You'll take a ferry across the English Channel to reach Canterbury, England's religious heart. From there, continue to London where you have free time around Tower Bridge, one of the city's most recognizable spots.

- Day 5
London
Take a guided tour around London with a local who'll point out Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace. Depending on when you're visiting, you might catch the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Later in the day, head to Piccadilly and spend time in Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho checking out the theaters and entertainment venues. Lots of places to grab dinner in these areas.

- Day 6
London to Netherlands
Spend the morning at the British Museum looking at collections from many different cultures around the world. After that, head to Camden to explore the colorful street market full of unusual items and unique finds. Grab lunch at one of the food stands or restaurants there. In the afternoon, travel to Colchester, England's oldest recorded town, and take a walk through its historic streets. Then board the ferry for an overnight crossing to the Netherlands. Your cabin has its own bathroom.

- Day 7
Netherlands to Amsterdam
The ferry arrives around 8:00 a.m./08:00 at Hoek van Holland. Head to Volendam, a charming old fishing village, then continue on to Amsterdam. Your guide takes you through the city pointing out the old windmills, the Rembrandt statue, the modern South District, and shows you the diamond cutting techniques at Museum Square. The tour ends with a walk into the city center, and you'll have free time to explore on your own.

- Day 8
Amsterdam to Berlin
Leave Amsterdam heading toward Germany. The coach stops in Hamelin, a charming town with shops and streets that look like they're from the Pied Piper story. You'll pass through Marienborn, the former checkpoint between East and West Germany before the wall came down in 1990. Continue to Berlin, arriving in the evening.

- Day 9
Berlin
Take a guided tour of Berlin from the coach, seeing Museum Island, the Television Tower, main shopping districts, the old cathedral damaged in World War II, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and large parks. You'll stop to visit the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum, both powerful sites connected to Germany's difficult 20th-century history. The afternoon is free to walk around at your own pace. Early evening, head to the lively Kantstrasse area.

- Day 10
Berlin to Prague
Drive through forests toward Dresden, a city known for its beautiful architecture and art collections. Explore the impressive palaces there and have lunch at one of the cafes or restaurants. Then continue to Prague in the Czech Republic, arriving at the vibrant Old Town Square. Grab dinner at one of the many restaurants serving Czech, Chinese, Indian, or Italian food before heading back to your hotel.

- Day 11
Prague
Your local guide leads you through Prague showing off the city's best sites, including a visit to Prague Castle. After the tour, take a boat ride on the Vltava River. The afternoon is free to walk around Prague however you want and see what you discover on your own.

- Day 12
Prague to Innsbruck
Leave early heading into Bavaria. You'll arrive in Munich by midday with time to stroll through the center and grab lunch. In the afternoon, continue into Austria, reaching Innsbruck, the main city in Tyrol right in the Alps. Explore the city and have dinner in the Golden Roof area and the Old Town.

- Day 13
Innsbruck to Zurich
Start with a visit to the Swarovski Museum, the famous crystal showcase. Walk through the impressive gardens and learn how Swarovski pieces are made. You'll have some free time before heading to Zurich while taking in the beautiful Tyrolean mountain views along the way. In the evening, check out the historic center near the lake with many restaurants serving Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, and Swiss food.

- Day 14
Grindelwald - Lucerne
Travel through the Interlaken region enjoying the tall mountains and clear lakes. Stop in Grindelwald for coffee, then take a cable car up the mountain and walk along a winding path to a suspension bridge with glacier views. Have lunch up there before heading back down. Continue to Lucerne, one of Switzerland's nicest cities, to explore the charming center before returning to Zurich.

Zurich to Milan
Leave Zurich early crossing over the Alps into the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Stop in Bellinzona to see the three medieval castles perched on the hills (UNESCO World Heritage Sites) and walk through the old streets. Continue to Como for lunch, famous for its lakeside gardens and impressive cathedral. Arrive in Milan where your guide takes you to Piazza del Duomo with time to look around before going to your hotel.

Milan to Rome
Head to Pisa and ride a small tourist train to Piazza dei Miracoli, the Square of Miracles, to see the famous Leaning Tower and other beautiful buildings. After exploring, drive to Rome, arriving later in the day.

- Day 17
Rome
Spend three hours with a guide touring Rome, combining walking through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, the outside of the Colosseum and Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour ends at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m./11:00. Spend the afternoon on your own. In the evening, head to Trastevere where cozy restaurants and a lively atmosphere await. Get back to your hotel around 8:30 p.m./20:30.

Rome to Florence
Leave Rome heading north through beautiful countryside. Arrive in Florence and go straight to Piazzale Michelangelo for a wide view of the whole city. Walk toward the center, have lunch, then take a guided walk with a local expert through areas like Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. The city feels like a museum you can walk through. Free time to explore however you want, and many restaurant choices in the evening with different cuisines.

Florence to Venice
Cross the Apennines enjoying the mountain views, then reach Venice. Take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the Island of Venice itself. Your local guide shows you St. Mark's Square and all it has to offer. Next, tour the Murano Glass Factory to see how artisans create this traditional glass using ancient techniques. You'll have free time afterward to walk around on your own. Your room for the night is in the Mestre district.
