Auckland
You'll arrive in Auckland and have the afternoon and evening to explore the city however you like. This evening, you'll meet your Travel Director and the rest of your group for a welcome drink to kick things off.

- Day 2
Auckland to Bay of Islands
After heading north to the Bay of Islands, you'll spend time at the Treaty Grounds where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed back in 1840. A local specialist will guide you through the site, and you'll see the world's largest ceremonial war canoe along with a carved meeting house that holds various Māori artifacts. The bay itself has over 140 subtropical islets and some really nice beaches to take in.

- Day 3
Bay of Islands
You have the day to yourself in the Bay of Islands. If you want to do something, there are optional activities like taking a cruise through the bay with New Zealand wine, or heading into Russell, which was New Zealand's first permanent European settlement. The area is known for its sunsets, so you'll want to stick around for that.

Landmarks Russell - Day 4
Whangarei to Auckland
You'll drive to Whangarei, New Zealand's northernmost city, where galleries and museums show how nature and culture blend together here. There's time to walk through the Town Basin before heading back to Auckland.
