Venice
You'll land at Venice airport and head to your hotel to get settled in. After dropping your bags, the rest of the day is open for you to wander around at your own pace. Walk through the streets, stop by a local cafe for coffee, or just take it easy and soak in the atmosphere.

Venice
This morning you'll check out Piazza San Marco, the heart of Venice, then tour the Palazzo dei Dogi and walk across the Bridge of Sighs. Grab lunch with a spritz and some cicchetti at a traditional spot. In the afternoon, you've got free time to explore the canals, take a gondola ride, or wander through quieter neighbourhoods on your own.

Venice to Bergamo via Verona and Franciacorta
You'll leave Venice early and head to Verona to see the Roman and medieval sites, including Juliet's House with its famous balcony. From there, you'll travel to Franciacorta for a light lunch with local wine. Later you'll arrive in Bergamo, split between the medieval Citta Alta and modern Citta Bassa. After checking in, you have time to walk the cobbled streets, relax in Piazza Vecchia, or find dinner at a local trattoria.

Bergamo to Lake Garda
After breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Garda, Italy's largest lake. The route along the western shore gives you views of the Brenta Dolomites and Moraine Hills rising up above the vegetation around the water.

Bergamo to Milan via Como and Bellagio
You'll leave Bergamo and head to Como, a lakeside town with nice piazzas, a medieval cathedral, and views of the Alps. Next you'll take a boat to Bellagio, an elegant village where two branches of the lake meet. You can walk the narrow streets and see the grand villas and gardens, then have free time for lunch. After crossing by ferry to Cadenabbia, you'll continue on to Milan, the country's fashion and cultural centre.

- Day 6
Milan to St. Moritz to Tirano and back to Milan
You'll travel from Milan to St. Moritz in Switzerland, a chic alpine resort with mountain scenery all around. You'll have time to walk through town and grab a coffee. Then you'll board the Bernina Express, one of the world's most scenic train rides, crossing through alpine villages, tunnels, past glaciers and mountain peaks. Your driver will pick you up in Tirano to take you back to Milan.

- Day 7
Milan
The morning is yours to explore Milan however you like, whether that's browsing shops in Quadrilatero della Moda, having coffee in a grand cafe, or walking through the streets and piazzas. In the afternoon, you'll join a three-hour guided walking tour starting at Porta Venezia, heading through Corso Venezia and Giardini Indro Montanelli, passing the Galleria d'Arte Moderna and along Viale Manzoni. You'll see Teatro alla Scala, then reach the Duomo, and finish at Castello Sforzesco with a relaxing aperitivo before heading back to the hotel.

Milan to Bolzano via Lake Garda and Trento
You'll head out from Milan to Peschiera del Garda, a pleasant town on Lake Garda's southern edge with waterways and historic walls. Then you'll continue to Trento to see Castello del Buonconsiglio and the Renaissance Santa Maria Maggiore Cathedral. After a leisurely lunch, you'll drive into South Tyrol along Italy's oldest wine road, stopping in Caldaro near Kaltern to see vineyards and the lake before reaching Bolzano.

Bolzano
You'll travel to Merano, known for its Christmas traditions, spa culture, and Alpine Mediterranean vibe. Walk through the old town with its arcaded streets and historic squares, then take free time for lunch. Later you'll head to Vipiteno, a charming town surrounded by the Alps with medieval towers and colourful buildings. You can wander the narrow streets, browse shops, and try local food. Back in Bolzano, you'll admire the Gothic Duomo and walk along Via dei Portici before a free evening to relax or explore.

Bolzano to Cortina d'Ampezzo via Bressanone and Brunico
After breakfast, you'll start in Bressanone, an Eisack Valley town that blends Austrian and Italian traditions, and see its 10th-century cathedral. You'll have time to sample regional wines in the relaxed Alpine setting. Next you'll go to Brunico with its colourful medieval streets and squares with views toward Kronplatz mountain. From there you'll head into the Dolomites to see either Lake Braies with its emerald waters and dramatic peaks or Lake Anterselva's quiet, unspoiled beauty, both great for photos. You'll finish in Cortina d'Ampezzo with dinner at your hotel.

Cortina d'Ampezzo
Starting from Cortina d'Ampezzo, you'll explore the Dolomites' most dramatic landscapes, taking in views of jagged peaks and the iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo. You'll continue to Lake Misurina, the Dolomites' largest lake, where calm water reflects the mountains around it. Then you'll go to Lake Dobbiaco, known for its emerald-green colour and peaceful feel. In the afternoon, you'll reach San Vito di Cadore at the base of Mount Antelao and Mount Pelmo, part of a UNESCO World Heritage area. You'll head back to Cortina with free time before dinner and an overnight stay.

Cortina d'Ampezzo to Milan via Bassano del Grappa
You'll travel to Bassano del Grappa, a nice town set against the Venetian Prealps. Walk through the cobbled streets lined with medieval towers and elegant Venetian palaces to reach the Ponte Vecchio, also called the Ponte degli Alpini. This wooden bridge designed by Andrea Palladio has striking views over the Brenta River. You'll visit the Grappa Museum for a guided tour about the region's famous spirit, with displays and films, finishing with a tasting of five grappa varieties. In the afternoon, you'll head back to Milan for your final night.
