Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and get settled at your hotel before heading to a 6 pm welcome meeting. If you land early, there's time to check out the Archaeological Museum of Athens or hunt for great souvlaki around the city. After the meeting wraps up, you'll join the group for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

- Day 2
Athens to Kalambaka
Start the day exploring ancient Athens with a local guide leading you through the Acropolis and walking through the Propylaea to see the Parthenon. You'll have lunch included featuring traditional Greek pies and vegetarian options. Then it's a drive north toward Kalambaka, stopping at Thermopylae to see the 480 BC battle site before reaching the town at the base of the Meteora Mountains.

Meteora
Head into the hills to visit the monasteries of Meteora, ancient structures perched on towering sandstone cliffs. A local guide takes you through the ruins of Pantokrator and Varlaam monasteries, explaining how hermit monks settled there starting in the 11th century. You'll return to Kalambaka to explore on your own or relax at the hotel, then meet in the evening to watch the sunset from the surrounding hills with a drink included.

Kalambaka to Nafpaktos
After breakfast, travel to Delphi to visit the museum and explore the complex with a local guide, including the Temple of Apollo. Later you'll visit a family of local beekeepers for an exclusive experience seeing hives, learning about honey production, and tasting their honey. Then it's on to the small coastal town of Nafpaktos for your overnight stay.

- Day 5
Nafpaktos to Dimitsana
You'll have a leisurely morning before driving to ancient Olympia's archaeological site with an expert local guide. Tour the main stadium, gymnasium, wrestling school, priest houses, Temple of Hera, hippodrome, and museum to learn about the first Olympic Games. After that, head to the medieval village of Dimitsana and check into Mikri Arktos Boutique Hotel, a traditionally decorated stone mansion with warm hospitality and mountain views.

Dimitsana
Explore central Peloponnese and Lousios Valley with a local guide. Dimitsana to Athens
This morning you'll visit the Mycenae archaeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most important Mycenaean civilization cities. Drive to Nafplion, Greece's original capital, and explore at your own pace. Before heading back to Athens, stop to sample ouzo and learn how this national drink is made. You'll arrive in Athens in the late afternoon for an included farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Athens to Paros
Travel to Athens' port at Piraeus this morning and board a ferry to Paros. In the afternoon, get to know Paros with a local guide starting in Parikia, visiting the Ekatontapiliani church. Drive across the island passing ancient marble quarries to Marpissa to visit a cultural centre and learn about island life. Continue to Naoussa, known for whitewashed alleys and a Venetian castle. You'll join your tour leader for souvlaki or gyros with vegan options available.

Paros
The day is yours to explore Paros at your own pace. Take a guided morning hike along the coast starting from a fishing village and weaving through some of the island's best beaches, or spend time relaxing on one of Paros' many beaches with dips in the Aegean Sea. Naxos
Drive to Kaloxylos in the heart of the island's largest and one of the world's oldest olive groves. Tour an olive oil press museum to learn about the importance of olive oil to Greek culture and traditional extraction methods. Travel to the nearby village of Galini for a hands-on cooking class with a local host. Collect fresh ingredients from your host's organic garden, learn about Naxian farming, then create a Naxian dish and enjoy it for lunch. The evening is free to explore at your leisure.

You have a free day to explore Naxos as you wish. Visit one of the island's many beaches, discover history at a local museum like the Archaeological Museum of Naxos in a 17th-century building, or the Geological Museum of Apeiranthos exploring the island's natural history. Try walnut cake flavored with local kitron. Your leader will help tailor a day that suits your interests.

Naxos to Santorini
Depart Naxos in the morning and catch a ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival in Fira, you'll be transferred to El Greco Resort, a whitewashed building in traditional Cycladic style with a year-round swimming pool and spacious rooms. The hotel is just a short walk from the Archaeological Museum of Thera, so head there to learn about previous civilizations on the island. Make sure you catch Santorini's famous sunset.

- Day 15
Santorini
Hike along Santorini's legendary caldera in the morning. The island today is what remains from a huge volcanic explosion that destroyed early settlements. Your walk takes you along the north-western rim of the caldera, passing steep cliff faces and great views before ending in Oia on the volcanic caldera slope. Explore wine production at two stops: the Symposium Cultural Centre where you'll learn about Greek wine and taste it in traditional cups, and a family-run winery offering wine and food pairings.
