  1. Day 1

    Cairo

    Your Uniworld representative meets you at Cairo International Airport and handles your transfer to your hotel. You'll stay at either the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza or the Nile Ritz-Carlton, both offering luxury accommodations right on the Nile.

  2. Day 2

    Cairo

    A local Egyptologist guide takes you through ancient Cairo. You'll see the 12th-century citadel and the Alabaster Mosque with its impressive architecture. From there, head to the Grand Egyptian Museum to walk through thousands of years of Egyptian heritage and artifacts.

    Luxor

    Luxor

    This day focuses on two major temples from ancient Thebes. Check out the Temple of Luxor first, then move on to the Temple of Hathor, which was dedicated to the goddess of love and beauty and took hundreds of years to complete.

    Luxor

    Start with the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that greet visitors. Then see the Temple of Hatshepsut, built by Egypt's female pharaoh. Finish with the Valley of the Kings, where you'll see Tutankhamen's mummified remains and explore tombs from a 500-year royal burial period.

  6. Day 6

    Aswan

    Visit Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to a crocodile god and see the display of 300 mummified crocodiles. Later, sail in a traditional felucca sailboat across the Nile, then grab afternoon tea at the Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan, known from Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile.

    Aswan

    See both ancient and modern engineering today. Check out the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Philae Temple complex, which was relocated during the 1970s. After that, take a motorboat excursion for bird-watching along the Nile.

    Aswan

    You have a full free day in Aswan to do as you wish. If you want structure, there's an optional excursion available to visit the temples of Abu Simbel, which requires traveling south from Aswan.

    Esna

    Head to the Temple of Khnum, also called the Temple of Esna, one of the last great Egyptian temples ever constructed. Your guide will explain this significant site and point out the facade with Egypt's final recorded hieroglyphic inscriptions, visible after centuries of burial.

  10. Day 10

    Luxor to Cairo

    Disembark in Luxor and fly back to Cairo. Once you check into your luxury hotel, you'll have free time to relax and wander around the city at your own pace. There's also an optional Masterpiece Collection museum visit if you want to continue exploring Egyptian history.

  11. Day 11

    Cairo

    This day covers the Pyramids at Giza and the Great Sphinx. You'll see them up close to really take in their scale and construction, then head to Saqqara to check out more pyramid sites and burial complexes from different periods.

    • For any tour departing before April 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 125 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
