Itinerary
- Day 1
Split
You'll arrive at Split airport and transfer to Trogir, a coastal town just nearby. After checking into your hotel, take some time to settle in and rest before the trip begins.

- Day 2
Split - Trogir
Start your day walking through Split's port area, following the history of Roman Emperor Diocletian from his former palace to the cathedral that once served as his mausoleum. You'll see both Roman structures and Venetian architecture throughout the city. Later, head to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Trogir and walk through its charming streets.

Trogir to Plitvice Lakes
Leave early for Zadar to see the Roman Forum and hear the famous Sea Organ. From there, drive inland to Plitvice Lakes National Park where turquoise lakes, waterfalls, and cascading water create a natural landscape you won't forget. Check into your hotel in the late afternoon.

Plitvice Lakes to Ljubljana to Opatija
Travel to Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital, and see Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture in the old town while learning about 5,000 years of history. You'll have free time to check out Tivoli Park or relax at cafes. In early afternoon, visit Postojna Caves, one of the world's largest accessible stalactite cave systems. Then continue to the coastal town of Opatija.

- Day 5
Opatija - Istrian Peninsula - Opatija
Explore the Istrian peninsula starting in Pula where you'll see a well-preserved Roman amphitheatre. Head to Rovinj's coastal setting with strong Venetian influences. After lunch, visit Porec's old town and the 6th-century Euphrasian Basilica with its mosaics. Return to Opatija to walk the old town, see Habsburg-era villas like Villa Angiolina, or relax at a coffee house.

- Day 6
Opatija to Krka National Park to Split
Spend the day in Krka National Park watching the Krka River flow over seven large waterfalls through gorges and lakes before reaching the sea. You'll see karst terrain and rolling hills throughout. Stop briefly in Sibenik, built on limestone cliffs at the river mouth, then head back to Split for dinner together.

Split to Hvar to Peljesac Peninsula

Orebic to Dubrovnik
Arrive at Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by medieval walls and fortifications overlooking the sea. Spend time exploring the old town, walking the Stradun to the Dominican monastery, harbor and Cathedral of the Assumption. See the Rector's Palace, then walk along the city walls, about two kilometers long, for great photo opportunities.
