Itinerary
- Day 1
Istanbul
You'll arrive in Istanbul and get settled at your hotel. Later this evening, your tour guide will meet with you for a welcome briefing to go over what's ahead for the next few days.
- Day 2
Istanbul
After breakfast, you'll join a guided tour through Istanbul hitting the major sites like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Dolmabahçe Palace, and the ancient Hippodrome. If you want to add something extra, there's a half day Bosphorus cruise available in the afternoon that gives you different views of the city from the water.

- Day 3
Istanbul to Canakkale
You'll head to Gallipoli to walk through the significant WWI battlefields. The tour covers memorials including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, Johnston's Jolly, plus original trenches and tunnels. From there you'll continue to Canakkale for the night.

- Day 4
Canakkale to Selçuk
Starting in Canakkale, you'll travel to Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and check out its historical ruins and museum. Then it's on to Behramkale, a traditional village where you can see what Turkish life looks like and try local tea or coffee. You'll drive south and reach Selçuk by evening, staying at a boutique hotel.

- Day 5
Selçuk
Your guided tour of Ephesus covers the Temple of Artemis site, the Library of Celsus, and the amphitheatre. You'll visit the Ephesus Archaeology Museum, then head to a traditional carpet village to see how carpet weaving actually works. The day wraps up with a wine tasting in Sirince before you head back to your hotel.

Selçuk to Fethiye
The day starts with a showcase of locally handcrafted leather goods. Then you'll travel to Fethiye and board your gulet around 3 p.m. From there you'll swim or snorkel in Turunc Bay or Tarzan Bay to check out the marine life. Later you'll visit Tersane Island where there are ancient Greek ruins and a historic naval shipyard. You'll spend the night in your gulet cabin.

Gulet Cruise
After breakfast on the boat, you'll sail to Hamam Bay for swimming among ancient Roman Bath ruins supposedly built by Mark Antony for Cleopatra. Next is Sarsala Bay, a pine-covered area where you can optionally hike 45 minutes to an ancient Lycian town with 3rd-century BC inscribed walls. Later you'll visit Bedri Rahmi Bay, named after a Turkish painter, for swimming and island exploration.

Gulet Cruise to Fethiye
You'll cruise back toward Fethiye, passing by Yassica and Göcek Islands with their secluded sandy beaches. There's excellent anchorage here for swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing on the beach. You'll make a final swim stop at Red Island before returning to Fethiye, then spend your last night aboard the gulet.

Fethiye to Pamukkale
You'll travel to Pamukkale to see its striking white travertine terraces and Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ruins show the area's long history, and you'll have a chance to soak in thermal springs surrounded by ancient columns that Romans valued for their therapeutic effects. You'll overnight in Pamukkale.

Pamukkale to Cappadocia
You'll journey along the historic Silk Road with a stop at Sultanhani Caravanserai, which shows classic Seljuk architecture. Then it's to Konya to see the Mevlana Museum, dedicated to the Sufi mystic Rumi. From there you'll head to Cappadocia, and this evening you have the option to experience a traditional Turkish folklore event.

Cappadocia
You'll explore Cappadocia's unusual lunar landscapes starting with Göreme Valley Open Air Museum and its rock-cut churches with ancient frescoes. You'll see the unique fairy chimneys, those tall thin spires the region is known for. Later you'll go down through the various levels of an underground city that early Christians used as a refuge.

Cappadocia to Istanbul
You'll leave early for Ankara, Turkey's capital, to visit Anıtkabir, the impressive mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of modern Turkey. After spending time at this significant historical site, you'll return to Istanbul for an overnight stay.
