Rimini
You'll arrive individually in Rimini and check into your accommodation. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to do as you like. Relax on the beach if that appeals to you, or walk around the city and check out places like the Civic Museum. It's a good day to get oriented and shake off travel fatigue.

- Day 2
Rimini
This is a hiking day that starts from the Cathedral and takes you through the old town, visiting Franciscan sites along the way. You'll head toward the Sanctuary of the Graces, following the Marecchia River valley through nice nature trails. If you want to skip some of the paved roads, there's a local bus from Rimini you can take to shorten the overall hike.

San Leo
Starting from Ponte Santa Maria Maddalena, you'll climb through country roads with panoramic views opening up around you. The route takes you to the ancient convent of Sant'Igne, and from there, you'll see the cliff and fortress before reaching San Leo. This village is one of the most visited spots in the Montefeltro area, and for good reason.

Sant'Agata Feltria
The day involves descending into the valley and then climbing the opposite ridge on panoramic routes that look out over deep gorges. You'll pass through Novafeltria and climb toward Torricella before hitting the ridge where views of both the Marecchia and Savio valleys come into sight. By evening, you'll arrive in Sant'Agata Feltria, an important Franciscan center in the Montefeltro region.

Balze
A short private transfer takes you to the highest point on the border with Tuscany. The landscape shifts from rural countryside to mountainous Apennine terrain as you hike. Most of the hike follows gravel roads and comfortable paths with nice views, passing the hermitage of Sant'Alberico along the way. You'll end the day at Balze, a small tourist hamlet, arriving via the historic Via Granducale stone road.

Pieve Santo Stefano
After a short private transfer to Pratieghi, your hike begins in open Apennine landscape with panoramic views of mountains, meadows, and pastures all around. You'll follow scenic ridge roads and gravel paths, and there's a suggested stop at the Cerbaiolo hermitage where Father Claudio is often around. Later in the day, you'll have a steady one-hour descent down to Pieve Santo Stefano.

Chiusi della Verna
You'll drive to Chiusi della Verna and check into your hotel. If you arrive with time to spare, the Franciscan sanctuary is open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., extending to 10:00 p.m. during summer months, so an afternoon visit is possible.
