- Day 1
Sintra
You'll arrive in Sintra and check into your hotel where your guide gives you an overview of what's ahead for the week. After that, you have time to walk around this UNESCO World Heritage site. The area sits in misty mountains with fairy-tale palaces, villas, and gardens to explore on your own.

Sintra
This morning you'll hike through the hills of Sintra on mountain trails. You'll see Pena Palace with its colorful design and exotic gardens, then head to the ancient 10th-century Moorish Castle which has great views from up there. Later in the day, you'll walk through the village streets before heading back.

Sintra to Praia Grande
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Monserrate Palace to see its 19th-century architecture and the botanical gardens. From there, you hike through forests to the Capuchin Monastery, then continue through the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park heading toward Adraga Beach and Pedra de Alvidrar. The day finishes with watching the sunset over the Atlantic.

- Day 4
Praia Grande to Cabo da Roca
You'll hike along Portugal's Atlantic coastline starting at Praia Grande and heading toward Cabo da Roca, which is Europe's westernmost point. Along the way, you can see ancient dinosaur footprints and explore quiet coves. Praia da Ursa sits surrounded by tall rock formations, and you'll reach dramatic cliffs with ocean views. You can choose a shorter route to Praia da Ursa or continue all the way to Cabo da Roca depending on your preference.

Peninha - Cascais
You'll hike up to Peninha at about 500 meters altitude in the Serra de Sintra mountains, where you can catch sunrise or sunset views over the Atlantic and see the Peninha Sanctuary. Walking through forest paths, you'll see the Sintra coastline, then head toward Cascais passing nice beaches and rocky coast. Near your accommodation, you'll pass by Boca do Inferno, a dramatic coastal point.
