Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive and settle in for the night, getting ready to start your cycling journey through the region tomorrow. This gives you time to check out your accommodation and prepare your bike for the adventures ahead.
- Day 2
Cycling through Valli Selvatiche
You'll cycle through Valli Selvatiche heading toward Villa Barbarigo, where the classic Italian gardens are worth taking time to walk through. After that, the medieval town of Arquà Petrarca is next, and you'll have a wine and oil tasting there. Then comes a scenic 30-minute hike up to the panoramic Mottolone plain before cycling back, with an optional detour through Monselice if you want. The ride is about 25 km with 220m of elevation gain.

Battaglia Terme to Catajo Castle
Your route follows the Vigenzone Canal to Pontemanco where you can see the old mills, then you'll head to San Pelagio's Aviation Museum to explore the history of human flight. From there, cycle through Montegrotto Terme and continue to Catajo Castle, which has beautiful frescoed rooms and the Giardino delle Delizie to see. This day covers about 25 km with 110m of elevation change.

- Day 4
Flexible Day in Euganean Hills
You get to choose how you spend this day. Go for a full cycling route through the Euganean Hills chain past forests, abbeys, and towns like Este and Bastia (65 km total), or skip the bike and head to one of Europe's largest thermal parks for spa treatments. There's also the option to take a day trip to Padua or Venice without cycling if you prefer exploring by other means.

- Day 5
Villa dei Vescovi and Benedictine Abbey
You'll cycle to the 16th century Villa dei Vescovi and see its preserved frescoes and gardens, then hike the Terre Bianche path through vineyards and olive trees leading to a small mountain church (5 km). Later, explore the Benedictine Abbey of Praglia, which operates as an international book restoration center, and walk through the San Daniele biotope where you can spot turtle colonies. Approximately 35 km ride with 235m of elevation gain.
