Itinerary
- Day 1
Shanghai to Huangshan
Your hotel pickup happens at 7:00 AM, then you'll catch an 8:00 AM train heading to Huangshan that gets you there by 11:20 AM. From the station, a private car takes about an hour to reach the mountain. Once there, you'll ride the Yungu Cable Car for 10 minutes to reach the peak, and then it's a 30-minute walk to your hotel where you'll pass Black Tiger Pine and Dream Flower Pine along the way. After settling in, you can walk over to Beginning-to-Believe Peak and Mushroom Pavilion to get a feel for the landscape. By late afternoon, head to Cloud-Dispelling Pavilion to watch the sunset before heading back to rest up for tomorrow's early start.

- Day 2
Huangshan to Shanghai
You'll wake up before sunrise and make your way to Refreshing Terrace to watch the sun come up, then grab breakfast afterward. From there, continue exploring Huangshan by visiting Lion Peak, Dawn Pavilion, and Stone Monkey Watching the Sea, with a nice walk through the scenic pine forests. If you're feeling energetic, the West Sea Grand Canyon is available as an optional hike. Later in the morning, your guide takes you to Tangmo Village, an ancient settlement over 1,000 years old where you can see Hui-style architecture and try Scripture Rubbing, an old calligraphy technique where you copy text onto special plant-fiber paper. By afternoon, your guide brings you to the train station for your 4:30 PM departure, arriving at Hongqiao Station in Shanghai at 7:30 PM. Your driver will be waiting in the arrival hall to drive you back to your hotel.
