Passau
Passau has plenty to see with its Gothic and Italian Baroque architecture. You can choose a guided walk through St. Stephen's Cathedral, a guided hike up to Veste Oberhaus fortress, or a guided bike tour heading out to Wernstein.

This is a full-day where you pick your own adventure. Visit Salzburg's historic center including Mirabell Gardens and Residenz Square, or head to the Czech town of Ceský Krumlov to see Baroque buildings and its castle complex, or stay closer and walk Linz's old city center with the Mozart House and the Cultural Mile along the Danube plus Greinburg Castle.

Dürnstein
Your morning involves Melk Abbey sitting on Danube granite cliffs (it's 900 years old), and you can visit it, hike there and take a guided tour, or bike to Marbach before heading back for lunch. After lunch, you'll travel to Spitz and can walk Durnstein's cobblestone streets and see the Baroque Stiftskirche, hike up to the fortress, cycle through Spitz, or head up to Rotes Tor. By evening, there's an exclusive wine festival highlighting regional wines.

Vienna's guided city tour shows you the Opera House and the former Imperial Palace of the Habsburgs, wrapping up at St. Stephen's Cathedral in the historic center. You can also bike through the city instead. In the afternoon, the Palace of Schonbrunn is on the agenda with a guided tour through the Imperial apartments, carriage museum, and gardens.

This morning the ship sails through the scenic Danube Bend, passing Hungary's oldest settlements like Esztergom, Visegrad, and Szentendre. Later in Budapest, you can explore the Buda Castle District with Fisherman's Bastion and the panoramic views, then see Matthias Church with its colorful mosaic roof, or hike up to Castle Hill.
