Arrival in Rome
Your private driver meets you at Rome's airport and takes you to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and adjust to the city at your own pace.

Following breakfast, you'll join a 2.5-hour guided archaeological tour that covers the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum with an audio system for details. The afternoon opens up for your own exploration, or you can book an optional tour of the Vatican Museums if that interests you.

Rome to Florence via Assisi and Siena
The deluxe coach departs at 7:15 a.m. heading toward Assisi, where you'll see the Basilica of St. Francis and its famous frescoes before lunch. Then it's on to Siena to check out the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo and its UNESCO site status, followed by a drive through the Tuscan countryside to Florence where you'll settle in for the night.

Your morning in Milan is unscheduled for your own exploration.
