    Following breakfast, you'll join a 2.5-hour guided archaeological tour that covers the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum with an audio system for details. The afternoon opens up for your own exploration, or you can book an optional tour of the Vatican Museums if that interests you.

    Great tour overall. Two exceptions, though: the van in most of the trip was too tight for six passengers, and uncomfortable in long trips; the cost was high, considering that the 6-day tour was effectively 4, with two being arrival and departure.
