- Day 1
Rio de Janeiro
You'll arrive in Rio de Janeiro and head to your accommodation in Lapa, checking in from 3PM onward. At 6PM, meet up with your group for a briefing, then jump right into the Carnival atmosphere. Grab your first caipirinha, take a group samba class, get face painted, and experience the lively nightlife of Lapa with your Tour Leader showing you around.

Landmarks Lapa - Day 2
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, join a guided city tour starting with a drive through Tijuca National Park to see Christ the Redeemer up close. From there you'll head to Santa Teresa to walk through neighborhoods with historic mansions, art galleries, and those famous trams. Stop at the colorful Selaron Steps, then take the cable car up Sugarloaf Mountain for views over Guanabara Bay. Back at the hotel by evening to get ready for the legendary Sambadrome Parade featuring Rio's top samba schools with incredible floats and costumes.

- Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
This morning offers three options: join your Tour Leader at one of the city's best blocos, head to Ipanema Beach with a guide for swimming, or take things easy on your own. In the afternoon, regroup and walk to Marina da Gloria for lunch. Then board a traditional schooner for a 4-5 hour cruise around Guanabara Bay with an open bar during the first hour, a dance floor, and chill areas. You'll catch sunset views of the city, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Christ the Redeemer before heading out again for the night with your Tour Leader.

Join a half-day favela tour with a local guide, visiting a pacified favela and learning its connection to Rio's samba schools. Start at the top for sweeping city views, then walk through narrow streets experiencing the community. Grab some acai from local vendors. Later, head to Arpoador Rock to watch the sun set behind Dois Irmaos mountains with panoramic views stretching from Copacabana to Leblon. Evening brings another Carnival party guided by your Tour Leader.

Rio de Janeiro
This morning, head to one of the best Carnival blocos in town, making sure to wear your swimsuit under your outfit and bring sunscreen. Spend the afternoon relaxing at Copacabana Beach swimming, soaking up sun, and taking in the vibrant scene. Return to rest or freshen up before tonight's celebration. Your final evening features a Brazilian churrasco BBQ dinner where you can go back for seconds or thirds, followed by one last party to close out Carnival with your whole group.
