You'll board the MS Douce France at 6:00 p.m. in Vienna and get settled into your cabin. After meeting the crew at a welcome cocktail, dinner is served on board to kick off your river journey.

Vienna to Budapest to Bratislava
The ship sails through Hungary's plains with views of medieval fortresses as you approach Budapest. A panoramic tour takes you through the Buda hills and Pest, where you'll see the Parliament building and the Danube from different angles. Dinner features a Hungarian-themed menu, and there's a folkloric evening before sailing overnight to Bratislava.

Bratislava
You'll sail through the Gabčíkovo Dam and past the Dunajské Luhy protected park, which is home to rare bird species. In the afternoon, walk through Bratislava's medieval old town with its winding streets, squares, and fountains, then head up to Bratislava Castle for views over the city and Danube. A gala evening is followed by an overnight sail to Vienna.

Vienna
This morning begins with a guided tour of the Hofburg Palace in Vienna's historic center, including the Sissi Museum dedicated to Empress Elisabeth. Later, the ship sails along the Danube through forested landscapes and past riverside villages with hilltop castles visible from the water. You'll have cocktails in the lounge bar and then attend an André Rieu concert with Viennese waltzes and classical pieces in a festive, interactive setting.
