You'll arrive in Vienna and get settled with your travel group. Start with coffee and sachertorte, a rich chocolate cake that's a local specialty. Dinner gives you a chance to meet the other travelers. If you're interested, there's an optional night out on the town afterward.

Vienna to Krakow
After traveling to Krakow, you'll join an orientation tour that covers the city's historical highlights, including its salt mining past and dragon legends. The evening is free, so you can explore Krakow's food scene and nightlife on your own schedule.

- Day 3
Krakow
You'll visit the Auschwitz and Birkenau memorials for a reflective and educational experience. After returning to Krakow, the evening is yours to spend. Many grab traditional Polish pierogi dumplings and wander the city streets.

Krakow to Budapest
The journey from Krakow takes you through Alpine scenery and small villages. You'll stop in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia for lunch, then continue to Budapest. By evening you'll arrive and can join an optional river cruise with dinner to get your first impressions of the city.

Budapest
You have the full day to explore Budapest however you like. Many people head to one of the city's thermal baths for a soak, or spend time on Margaret Island checking out its gardens, fountains, and ruins.

Budapest to Ljubljana
You'll head south from Budapest to Ljubljana, Slovenia. This city has a relaxed, less touristy feel with a young energy. Spend time in local cafes, wander the streets, and get a sense of everyday life there.

Ljubljana to Venice
After arriving in Venice, you'll take a water taxi to reach the main part of the city. From there you can explore the canals and see the historic architecture. Options include booking a gondola ride, taking a guided food tour, or wandering on your own.

Venice to Rome

Rome
Today is all about Rome's famous sights. Photograph pink azaleas by the Colosseum, toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, and grab espresso at a cafe in one of the piazzas. Walk through the city taking in the classic Roman atmosphere.

Rome to Florence
You'll stop in Pisa to photograph the Leaning Tower, then continue to Florence. See the River Arno, try some Chianti wine, and walk around to spot the Duomo Cathedral. Tomorrow you'll have more time to explore the city.

Florence
Spend the day exploring Florence's historic neighborhoods and local markets. Try gelato, wander around, and soak in the city's culture. There's an optional pizza making class if you want to learn traditional Florentine pizza techniques.

Florence to Swiss Alps
After leaving Florence, you'll make one more stop at the Leaning Tower of Pisa for photos. Then you're heading to the Swiss Alps. Once you arrive, you can relax and take in the mountain scenery. An optional fondue dinner is available.

Swiss Alps
You have the day free to enjoy the Alpine views and explore at your own pace. Optionally, you can take a trip up a mountain with other travelers or try paragliding. Otherwise just wander the town and take in the scenery.

Swiss Alps to Paris
You'll cross from Switzerland into Burgundy, driving through wine country. By evening you'll arrive in Paris with an included dinner. After that, the city is yours to explore.

Paris
Paris is the focus today. Visit the Fragonard Perfumery, browse shops, stop at Notre Dame Cathedral, and enjoy coffee and crepes at a cafe. Check out the Louvre if you have time. There's an optional dinner and cabaret show for your last evening.
