Perth
You'll arrive in Perth and meet your Travel Director for a city sights tour. Afterwards, take a relaxed walk through Kings Park where the Botanic Garden spreads across the grounds with over 3,000 floral species. This evening your group gets together for dinner to start the Western Australia adventure.

- Day 2
Perth to Kalgoorlie
Head out to Wave Rock, a 110-metre granite formation with rainbow hues that's over three million years old. You'll meet local farmer Sheenagh who talks about outback life and shows you her farm and vintage car collection. The drive gives you a good sense of the wide open WA countryside.

Kalgoorlie
Travel through the outback to Kalgoorlie where you can see the wide streets and buildings from the gold rush era. The impressive Super Pit open-cut gold mine comes into view, and then you'll stand next to massive loaders and haul trucks at Hannans North Mine to really get a feel for the gold rush history and the Golden Mile.

Kalgoorlie to Esperance
Cape Le Grand National Park is your destination today, covering over 31,000 hectares of heathlands, rugged coastal peaks and white sandy beaches. You'll visit Thistle Cove and Lucky Bay where kangaroos hang out on the beach, then head to scenic Hellfire Bay. An Aboriginal guide joins you for a cultural experience about the Wudjari people's history and the area's natural features.

Albany
Today is yours to spend as you like in Albany. You could do a heritage tour about the town's role as the last port for ANZAC troopships in WWI, or check out Torndirrup National Park with its dramatic cliffs and rock formations where whales pass during migration. A culinary excursion is another option if you're interested and willing to cover the cost.

Albany to Margaret River
Experience the Tree Top Walk suspended 40 metres above the forest floor, giving you bird's-eye views of soaring tingle trees in the Valley of the Giants. Later you'll travel to the Margaret River region for a hosted wine tasting at Hamelin Bay Wines, a beautiful estate producing wines since 1992 where the Indian and Southern oceans meet.

Margaret River to Busselton to Fremantle
Travel through Margaret River wine region where the vineyards sit metres from the sand and provide backdrops all the way to Busselton. See the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere at 1.8 kilometres. The rest of the day is free to wander around Fremantle, and the Markets have over 150 stalls to browse through.

Fremantle
Fremantle is yours to explore at your own pace. Wander the foreshore, grab lunch, or enjoy a cool ale. Little Creatures Brewery is a local favourite if you want the inside tips. You can also book a guided Fremantle tour if you'd like (at your own cost), or take the ferry to Rottnest Island to see quokkas and turquoise waters (also at your own cost).
