Launceston
You'll arrive in Launceston, Tasmania's second-largest city in the Tamar Valley. If your flight gets in early, there's time to explore on your own—you could take a boat cruise, visit some wineries, or check out Cataract Gorge with its chairlift if you're up for it. Spend the afternoon getting familiar with the city before meeting the group for a welcome drink and toast later.

Bicheno
Start at Bridestowe Estate, a famous lavender farm where you'll try lavender ice cream and local honey. From there, head to the Legerwood Carved Memorial Trees, an intricate WWI tribute with sculptures honoring fallen soldiers. By evening you'll drive to Bicheno to watch little penguins come ashore in their natural habitat at dusk.

Freycinet Peninsula
You'll take a boat cruise along Tasmania's east coast through Freycinet Peninsula, passing granite peaks and the pink-hued Hazards range. The cruise passes secluded beaches and Wineglass Bay, one of the region's most iconic spots. Lunch is served on board with a Ploughman's spread and water views, so you'll get to relax while taking in the scenery.

Iron Creek Bay Estate
This morning starts with a Welcome to Country ceremony on the Derwent River, followed by a bush tucker walk led by local palawa community members. Later you'll explore historic Richmond, including Australia's oldest convict-built gaol and historic bridge, with time for boutique shops or Old Hobart Town if you'd like. You'll have a famous Tasmanian scallop pie for lunch, then head to Iron Creek Bay Estate for a guided farm tour, fruit picking, and a locally inspired dinner.
