Manaus
You'll board your ship in Manaus and start with a guided tour of the city center. The Adolpho Lisboa Market is your first stop, where you can walk through rows of colorful vendors selling exotic tropical fruits and local goods. After that, head to the Teatro Amazonas opera house to see the impressive architecture. A short cruise then takes you to Vila Paraiso to check out the Rubber Museum and learn about the region's rubber industry history. Back on the ship, you'll meet the crew at a welcome cocktail before dinner service.

This morning starts early with a private boat on the Rio Negro, where you'll watch for macaws, parrots, and fish eagles. If you're lucky, you might spot grey or pink river dolphins. After breakfast back on the ship, you head into the forest to see the diverse plant life and learn about the riverbank communities protecting the region's ecosystems. By late afternoon, you're on a private boat again near Lago da Pescada, watching for wildlife as you cruise toward the Anavilhanas Archipelago.

Meduini River
You'll hike through primary rainforest to reach the Madada Caves, where ancient rock engravings carved by indigenous tribes over 3,000 years ago are carved into the stone. Along the way, your guide explains the region's plant biodiversity and which trees and vines were used in traditional indigenous medicine. Mid-afternoon brings another private motorized boat excursion where you look for snowy egrets, macaws, and fish eagles while cruising toward the Meduini River.

Jaú National Park - Carabineni River
At dawn you board a private boat around the Meduini River, one of the most biodiverse places on earth. From there you cruise toward Jaú National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and South America's largest protected tropical rainforest, where pink and grey dolphins are possible to spot. A guided forest walk shows you rainforest trees like the Samauma, which can reach up to 90 meters high. In the afternoon, cruise toward the Carabineni River for another private boat exploration of its waters and wildlife.

Native Village
Sunrise brings a private boat trip to observe local wildlife and flora. You'll meet natives from a nearby village who take you by canoe to explore the fauna, including monkeys moving through the water. The village and its school offer a look at local life. Afternoon time is yours to relax and watch wildlife from the ship cruising the Rio Jaú. If weather works out, there's an optional nighttime private boat excursion to see nocturnal wildlife, where flashlight beams pick out the glowing eyes of caimans along the riverbanks.

Airaó Velho
You'll hike the Itaobal Trail for about 3 hours to reach a waterfall and crystal-clear lake, watching for local wildlife and possibly sleeping caimans. Next, you explore Airão Velho, an abandoned village that was the center of the rubber industry until the 1950s. The remnants show where cacao, coffee, and orange plantations once flourished. The village was abandoned in 1955 when residents moved downriver to establish present-day Novo Airão, and vegetation has since reclaimed the old ruins and homes.

You spend time in Novo Airão, which sits on the banks of the Rio Negro and serves as a gateway to the Anavilhanas Archipelago, the second-largest freshwater archipelago in the world. Browse local handicrafts and visit a local brewery to experience the village hospitality and warm welcome. Afternoon takes you cruising toward Acajatuba village, where you board local boats to observe the riverbanks and waters.

Ariau Canal
You'll see the preserved village of Acajatuba with its charming small colorful wooden houses built on stilts. Board local boats and cruise toward the Ariau Canal, which connects the Amazon River to the Rio Negro. This area is particularly good for wildlife observation, especially to catch sight of the yellow-handed monkey (mão amarela) moving through the trees.

Meeting of the Waters
At sunrise, you witness the rainforest with reflections of trees and sky in the water, birds in flight, and the daily rhythm of life unfolding. The main event is the Meeting of the Waters (Encontro das Águas), where the Solimões River mixes with the dark Rio Negro. The two rivers keep their distinct colors bright yellow and silt-laden from the Solimões, dark from the Rio Negro intertwine for nearly 80 kilometers, creating a lace-like pattern before eventually merging into the Amazon River.

Manaquiri River - Manaus
As nature awakens, you explore Janauacá Lake on a private boat, observing birds foraging, dolphins hunting in muddy waters, and fishermen working in their canoes. The lake's inhabitants balance cassava farming, fishing, and livestock raising. After returning to the ship for breakfast, you cruise upriver along the Manaquiri River through sunset, observing local wildlife and flora. Late afternoon brings a cruise along the Solimões River back toward Manaus.
