Itinerary

Cappadocia
After breakfast, you're driven to Ozkonak Underground City to check out one of Cappadocia's best-preserved ancient sites. From there, head up to Uchisar Castle at the region's highest point, then move on to Goreme Open Air Museum where you'll see 10th-century frescoes in carved-out chambers. You'll stop by the abandoned village of Cavusin to walk through the quiet streets before heading to Avanos for lunch. After eating, visit a pottery workshop to learn how artisans work with clay using traditional techniques passed down for generations. Next, you'll wander through Love Valley's rock formations and stop at a carpet workshop to see handwoven Cappadocian kilims being made. Later in the afternoon, drive out to Devrent Valley to see the Three Beauties fairy chimneys before heading back to your hotel as the day winds down.
