- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll land at Noi Bai International Airport and get picked up for the roughly 40-minute drive to your hotel in the city center. After you drop your bags and settle in, head out on a guided walk around Hoan Kiem Lake where you'll cross the red Huc Bridge and visit Ngoc Son Temple. Later this evening, you'll watch a traditional water puppet performance, then finish with a welcome dinner that showcases local Hanoi specialties.

Hanoi to Sapa
Leave Hanoi early at 7:00 AM in a luxury van for the 320 km drive up to Sapa on the Hanoi-Lao Cai expressway, stopping partway at a local tea plantation to stretch. You'll arrive around 12:30 PM and then start a 3-hour guided trek through Cat Cat Village, where you'll walk through Black H'mong homes, stop at traditional craft workshops, and reach a waterfall viewpoint. Wrap up the day back in town with dinner at Sapa Rooms.

Sapa to Hanoi
Start before dawn watching the sunrise from your hotel terrace, then ride the Fansipan Cable Car up to the 3,143m summit for a 30-minute guided walk and views from Heaven's Gate. You'll head down for lunch at a Red Dao family home in Ta Phin Village where they'll teach you about their traditional herbal bath practices. Later at 2:30 PM you'll leave Sapa, stop at a local market on the way, and get back to Hanoi around 8:00 PM.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
Depart Hanoi at 8:00 AM for a scenic 2.5-hour drive through the Red River Delta to Tuan Chau Marina, with a stop at a traditional handicraft center along the way. Once you board your luxury cruise vessel, settle into your cabin and enjoy gourmet lunch while sailing into Halong Bay. Afternoon activities include kayaking around Luon Cave, time for swimming, sunset cocktails, and a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class, followed by an elegant seafood dinner and optional squid fishing at night.

- Day 5
Halong Bay to Hanoi
Wake up early for an optional sunrise tai chi session on the sundeck, then have light breakfast. You'll explore Surprise Cave (Sung Sot) and its impressive 10,000m² of rock formations, then return to the ship for full breakfast while cruising back toward harbor. Disembark around 11:30 AM and transfer back to Hanoi, arriving near 2:30 PM. From there, arrange your airport drop-off if your flight leaves after 5:00 PM, or head to your hotel if you're staying longer.
