Delhi
The full day is yours to spend however you'd like in Delhi. You can wander around different neighborhoods, check out local markets, or stay back at the hotel and prepare for the activities coming up. It's a good day to adjust to the time difference and get your bearings.

Delhi to Amritsar
Start with a drive past the Red Fort, then take a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi's busy streets. After that, visit the Jama Masjid. In the evening, you'll head to the airport and fly to Amritsar to continue your journey.

Amritsar

Amritsar to Shimla
Catch your morning train to Chandigarh, then continue by road heading into the hills toward Shimla. Once there, you'll walk along Mall Road and explore The Ridge, which gives you nice views across the surrounding hills. Christ Church is a colonial-era building worth seeing, with some interesting architecture from that period.

Shimla

Shimla to Delhi

Delhi to Jaipur
Have breakfast on the Shatabdi Express as it takes you to Jaipur. When you arrive, spend the afternoon at the City Palace, the royal residence that's still partially home to the royal family. Then check out the Jantar Mantar Observatory with its 18th century astronomical instruments and structures.

The morning is free for you to relax or explore on your own. In the afternoon, fly to Delhi. Once you land, visit the Qutab Minar complex, the Rashtrapati Bhawan which is the President's residence, and India Gate, a memorial for Indian soldiers. Finish with a farewell dinner.
