- Day 1
Keflavik to Reykjavik
You'll arrive at Keflavik airport and hop on the Flybus shuttle to your hotel in Reykjavik. If your flight gets in early enough, there's time to wander around Iceland's capital on your own and get a feel for the city before settling in.

- Day 2
Reykjavik to Isafjardardjup to Isafjordur
Meet your guide early morning and head west to Grábok, a 3,400-year-old volcanic crater. You'll stop for lunch in the coastal town of Búðardalur, then drive along the scenic Isafjardardjup fjords where whale spotting is possible. Later you'll visit Litlibær, one of Iceland's few remaining turf houses that now operates as a museum and café, before checking into your hotel in Isafjordur for three nights. Once it gets dark, you'll search for the Northern Lights.

Ísafjörður Region
Start the day at Dynjandi waterfall, one of Iceland's most impressive with its distinctive tiered structure. From there, travel along the coastline and fjords to the Ófundarfjörður pier for panoramic mountain views, then do a nature walk and have a meal. You'll explore the colorful streets and history of Ísafjörður before heading out to hunt for the Northern Lights after sunset.

Begin at Ósvor Maritime Museum housed in a restored fishing hut where you'll learn about 19th-century rowboat fishing and isolated village life. Next you'll visit Flateyri village and browse Gamla bókabúðin, a charming bookstore running since 1914. The guide will share the village's 1995 avalanche history and show you the protective fences built afterward. Evening time is reserved for searching for the Northern Lights.

Ísafjörður to Hólmavík to Vogur
Travel to Hólmavík and visit the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft, where you'll see artifacts, ancient grimoires, and magical staves from Iceland's witchcraft history. Continue to the remote Vogur Country Lodge in West Iceland, a pristine location perfect for Northern Lights hunting. Arriving early in the evening gives you more time to watch the sky.

Vogur to Reykjavik
Head south toward Borgarnes and check out the Settlement Center, learning about early human settlement in Iceland through exhibitions spread across a warehouse, merchant house, and reception hall. Then travel to Reykjavik and explore landmarks like Hallgrímskirkja church, the University campus, and the colorful harbor area. You'll see Harpa concert hall and conference center, and later try fermented shark with a shot of Brennivín as a celebration of your trip.
