- Day 1
Calgary
You'll arrive in Calgary and get transferred to The Dorian, Autograph Collection. At the hotel, you'll meet your tour director and the rest of your group during a welcome briefing to kick things off.

Calgary to Banff
After leaving Calgary, you'll drive to Banff along Alberta's historic Cowboy Trail. On the way, you'll meet two of Alberta's premier food-producing families and have a special farm to fork lunch prepared by an exceptional chef. Later you'll check into Fairmont Banff Springs for a two-night stay.

Banff
You have several options to choose from today in Banff National Park. Take a helicopter tour over the Three Sisters Peaks, float down the Bow River, relax at the Fairmont Spa, ride the gondola up Sulphur Mountain, or go snowshoeing in the backcountry. For dinner, pick from restaurants serving Bavarian Alpine, Italian, or French brasserie cuisine.

You'll head to Lake Louise, known as the 'Diamond in the Wilderness,' where Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise sits in the natural setting. A retired Royal Canadian Mounted Police member will talk with you about the Mounties and their history. Dinner features French-Canadian or contemporary Canadian options at the hotel.

Lake Louise to Jasper
Today involves driving along the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic routes in the Canadian Rockies. You'll stop at Columbia Icefield and board an Ice Explorer to travel across the Athabasca Glacier. An indigenous storyteller leads a guided plant walk about native medicinal and culinary plants, and later you'll have an exclusive dinner with wilderness ingredients. You'll arrive in Jasper for a two-night stay at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Jasper offers several activities to pick from. You can take a 90-minute cruise to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake, raft the Athabasca River, tour Maligne Canyon, go on a Harley Davidson sidecar tour, or snowshoe through the area. A guided wildlife tour lets you spot elk, deer, black bears, moose, and mountain goats in their natural habitats.

You'll board the Rocky Mountaineer train for a scenic rail journey through the Canadian Rockies. Traveling in GoldLeaf Service with a glass-dome carriage, you'll pass through mountain passes and dramatic canyons. By evening you'll arrive in Kamloops for an overnight stay at a hotel selected by Rocky Mountaineer.

Kamloops to Vancouver
The Rocky Mountaineer journey continues as you view the Fraser and Thompson rivers from your glass-dome carriage. You'll have lunch with local wine or beer pairings while taking in the scenery around you. Later you'll arrive in Vancouver and settle in at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver in the historic downtown area.

You'll start early at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, which opens just for Scenic guests. Walk across the swaying suspension bridge high above the forest canopy with views of the wilderness below. After a city sightseeing tour and lunch, you'll get transferred to Vancouver International Airport for your flight home.
