- Day 1
Santiago de Compostela to Tui
You'll arrive in Santiago de Compostela and make your way to Tui for your first night. Once there, take time to walk through the Old Town and see the Cathedral up close. The International Bridge connecting Spain and Portugal is right there, and crossing it gives you a real sense of where you are geographically. If you've got energy left, Valença do Minho is close by and worth a quick visit if timing works out.

- Day 2
Tui to O Porrino
This day brings one of the most scenic stages ahead. You'll cross the Miño River and start climbing towards Ribadelouro. The main route takes you through paved urban areas, but there's a marked alternative that goes through As Gándaras Natural Park if you prefer quieter, more nature-focused walking instead.

O Porrino to Redondela & Cesantes
Expect steep climbs on this stage, but the views make it worth the effort. You'll pass through Mons before tackling your first big climb to Alto de Inxertado. Once you reach the summit, the descent offers great views as you make your way down to Redondela for the night.

Redondela & Cesantes to Pontevedra
Head towards Setefontes and then on to Arcade, a coastal town famous for its oysters, so consider trying them if you get the chance. From there, you'll walk along the Ría de Vigo through thick forests and cross the historic Bridge of Sampaio before arriving in Pontevedra.

Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis
This is a gentler day with mostly flat, easy terrain throughout. You'll pass through several charming villages, each with its own character and local hospitality. It's a good day to take your time and soak in the atmosphere as you make your way to Caldas de Reis.

Caldas de Reis to Padrón
Today you'll walk through some of the route's nicest landscapes, with vineyards, cultivated fields, and the Valley of Bermañá all around you. Later, you'll pass through forests of chestnuts and eucalyptus before reaching Padrón. Once there, try the local peppers, which are a real specialty of the area.

Padrón to Santiago de Compostela
This is your final walking day. You'll follow the N-550 route guided by the railways and pass through Iria Flavia on your way. Then comes the climb to O Milladoiro, and that's when the Cathedral towers come into view. Reaching Santiago after all this walking brings a mix of excitement and emotion as your journey concludes.
