- Day 1
Delhi
You'll arrive in Delhi and find your hotel ready for mid-afternoon check-in. The city itself blends centuries of history with contemporary energy everywhere you look. Your Tour Director will join you on day 6, so you'll have a couple days to get settled in and adjust to the time zone before the organized activities begin.

Delhi to Varanasi
It's off to Varanasi today. This flight takes you to one of Hinduism's holiest cities, where spiritual traditions and ancient culture shape everything about daily life. The moment you arrive, the intensity and reverence of the place become clear.

Varanasi
Your morning starts before dawn with a boat trip on the Ganges. You'll see hundreds of pilgrims bathing in the sacred waters, meditating, and doing yoga as the sun comes up. After breakfast back at your hotel, you have free time to rest or wander around. Later, the evening brings you to the ghats for the Ganga Aarti ceremony, where the spiritual energy and ritual fire create an unforgettable experience.

Varanasi to Khajuraho
A short flight takes you to Khajuraho, where an ancient temple complex from centuries past awaits. This UNESCO World Heritage Site holds significant architectural and historical importance. You'll get your first glimpse of these remarkable structures, and there's time to start taking them in before settling into your accommodations.

Khajuraho
Today you'll walk through the Khajuraho Temples with a local guide who can explain the intricate details and history. Built around 950 AD, these temples feature distinctive architecture inspired by Himalayan peaks. They were buried under jungle growth for centuries until people rediscovered them in 1838. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace or relax.

Khajuraho to Delhi
You'll fly back to Delhi where your Tour Director meets you. After settling into your hotel, the rest of the evening is free. Some people grab dinner nearby, others take a short walk to get oriented to the neighborhood.

Delhi
This morning starts with a drive past India Gate and the Presidential Palace. Then you'll ride a rickshaw through the crowded market alleys of Chandni Chowk and visit Jama Masjid. After lunch, you'll see Qutub Minar, a towering brick structure from the 11th century, followed by Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Delhi's principal Sikh temple. Tonight your Tour Director hosts a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Delhi to Agra
You'll drive to Agra early and start with Agra Fort, a massive structure built from red sandstone with Mughal palaces, halls, and the Room of Mirrors inside. The day concludes with a sunset visit to the Taj Mahal, the white marble monument Shah Jahan built as a memorial to his wife. The light at sunset creates something really special there.

- Day 9
Agra to Jaipur
On the way toward Jaipur, you'll stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a ghostly abandoned city from 1569 with sandstone palaces and graceful courtyards. The city was left behind when the water supply dried up, so it has an eerie, preserved quality. After lunch, the drive continues through desert landscapes and small colorful villages as you head to Jaipur, known for its distinctive pink-colored buildings.

Jaipur
Amber Fort is your first stop, a royal fortress with apartments, a marble hall, and a chamber with intricate mirror work. The rest of the day gives you time to walk through Jaipur's pink streets on your own.

Jaipur to Jodhpur
The drive from Jaipur to Jodhpur takes you through desert country and traditional Rajasthani villages painted in bright colors. By the time you arrive, you'll see the dramatic shift from pink to blue architecture. Dinner at your hotel is included tonight.

Jodhpur
You'll explore Jodhpur's old city with a guide, walking through areas enclosed by a 10-kilometer wall with 8 gates. Mehrangarh Fort dominates the landscape with its grand palaces, and you'll also visit the Jaswant Singh II Memorial, made from thin marble sheets that let light pass through. The afternoon is free, or you can join an optional jeep safari to meet the Bishnoi people and learn about their principles of living in harmony with nature and animals.

From there you'll continue to Udaipur, a city of narrow winding streets, palaces, pavilions, and gardens built around water. The rest of the day is yours to start getting a feel for the place.

Udaipur
The morning includes visits to City Palace, Rajasthan's largest palace, and the Jagdish Temple plus the Crystal Gallery. You'll have midday free time to grab lunch or shop. In the late afternoon, you can either take a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola or choose an optional Rajasthani folk dance performance featuring traditional music and colorful costumes.

Udaipur to Mumbai
A flight brings you to Mumbai, where the energy is completely different from what you've seen in Rajasthan. This is India's largest city, a major port, and the center of Bollywood. The mix of history, culture, and contemporary life creates a unique atmosphere.

Mumbai
You'll photograph famous Mumbai landmarks like Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and the Gateway of India. Then you'll watch the tiffin delivery system in action: dabbawalas moving lunch boxes at Churchgate Station onto trains and sorting them at Mahalaxmi Station. After that you'll see a traditional open-air laundromat at Dhobi Ghat, then visit Mani Bhavan where Mahatma Gandhi lived. Tonight brings a farewell dinner.
