Monrovia
Start the day at the National Museum of Liberia checking out artifacts from tribal groups and the independence era. Then head to Waterside Market, one of Monrovia's oldest, where you'll walk through vibrant stalls selling fabrics, beads, spices, and handicrafts. After grabbing lunch, you'll catch an evening of traditional masked dance performed by a local cultural society. These sacred dances give real insight into Liberia's spiritual heritage and what it means to the communities here.

Monrovia to Bong County
This morning you'll travel from Monrovia to a rural village in Bong County. The community greets you with music and kola nuts as a welcome. Throughout the day, you'll join in everyday village activities like basket weaving, rice pounding, and storytelling sessions with elders. You'll work alongside a local artisan to carve your own traditional mask. By evening, you'll share dinner and conversation with your host family lit by lantern light, getting to know them over the meal.

Bong County to Monrovia
After breakfast, you'll head back to Monrovia and visit Providence Island Heritage Site, where freed slaves from America first landed during the 1820s. From there, check out a contemporary art gallery supporting young Liberian artists working today. Following lunch, you'll transfer to the airport or back to your hotel, wrapping up your time in Liberia.
