Marrakech
Your driver picks you up at Marrakech airport and takes you to your riad in the medina. Depending on when you land, you might walk around and see some of the city's well-known spots, or you could just settle in and get a feel for the place.

- Day 2
Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou
After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, you'll walk through Marrakech with a local guide, checking out the Koutoubia Mosque, the souks, Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. Later in the afternoon, you'll head into the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber villages and over the Tizi n'Tichka Pass before reaching the old village of Ait Ben Haddou.

- Day 3
Ait Ben Haddou to Merzouga
This morning you'll explore the centuries-old kasbah at Ait Ben Haddou, then continue toward the Sahara. You'll see Ouarzazate, drive through the Dades Valley and Todra Gorge, and pass by the Ziz palm valley. By evening, you arrive in Merzouga as the sun drops over the dunes and settle into a luxurious desert camp.

Merzouga
Pick one Sahara activity from the options: camel trekking with local nomads, quad biking across the dunes, or a 4x4 desert safari to check out remote areas and oasis spots. After that, you have time to relax at camp and soak in another night under the stars in the dunes.

Merzouga to Midelt
You'll travel north through Rissani market and Erfoud, where fossils and date palms are a big deal. The landscape keeps changing as you wind through dramatic stone valleys and desert plateaus. By evening, you reach Midelt, sitting between mountain peaks.

Midelt to Fes
The route takes you through the cedar forests of Azrou where Barbary macaques hang out in the trees, then to Ifrane, a pristine mountain town sometimes called Little Switzerland. You'll see Roman columns and mosaics at Volubilis, stop briefly in imperial Meknes, and pull into Fes by evening.

- Day 7
Fes
A local guide shows you around Fes medina, treating it like a living museum. You'll see artisans hammering copper, weavers working at their looms, leather tanneries, and intricate tile work inside hidden madrasas. The tour includes the world's oldest university, important mosques, and the royal palace gates.

Fes to Chefchaouen
You head north to Chefchaouen, a peaceful town surrounded by the Rif Mountains. The cobalt-blue streets wind through the town, and you can walk around, pick up local crafts, or just take in the atmosphere of this place that feels like a painter's canvas.

- Day 9
Chefchaouen to Rabat to Casablanca
Driving through green hills gets you to Rabat, Morocco's elegant capital. You'll see Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Atlantic. Then it's on to Casablanca where you have free time to see the Hassan II Mosque, check out Art Deco buildings, or watch the sunset from the Corniche.
