Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Ha Giang
Your Ha Giang Loop starts with a hotel pick-up. You've got two options here: either take an afternoon limousine that gets you in late evening, or board a sleeper bus from Hanoi Old Quarter and arrive at your hostel in Ha Giang City early morning. Either way, you'll settle in and get some rest before the real adventure begins.



- Day 2
Dong Van Stone Plateau
Fuel up with breakfast and sit down for a briefing with your guide and local easy rider, then it's time on the motorbike. You'll head through mountain passes including Heaven Gate and Bac Sum Pass, grabbing lunch in Yen Minh Town along the way. After that, you'll stop at Tham Ma Slope to meet Hmong women in traditional dress surrounded by colorful buckwheat flowers, then check out the old Hmong King's Palace. By evening you're in Dong Van Town for dinner and a walk through the ancient streets.

- Day 3
Ma Pi Leng Pass - Du Gia Homestay
After breakfast, head to Dong Van Market or catch the weekly Sunday local fair if timing works out. Then back on the motorbike through Ma Pi Leng Pass, where you'll trek the Sky Path for views overlooking the Nho Que River. You'll pass through rustic villages like Meo Vac, Mau Due, and Lung Ho, take a dip at a waterfall to cool off, then arrive at Cheers Lodge in rice fields for a homestay. Expect a big party, home-cooked food, and local corn wine called 'Happy Water.'

Du Gia to Ha Giang to Sapa
Wake to the quiet of rural life, have breakfast with tea, and say goodbye to your host family. You'll ride back toward Ha Giang, stopping at Lung Tam weaving village to see Hmong textile artisans at work, then grab lunch in Quan Ba with views of Fairy Mountain. After crossing through Sky Gate and Bac Sum Pass, you'll reach Ha Giang by late afternoon. From there, either a limousine or sleeper bus takes you north to Sapa, arriving around 11 PM.

- Day 5
Trekking to Ta Van Village
Start with breakfast at your hotel, then visit Sapa Church before beginning a 12 km trek toward Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages, where H'mong minority communities live. You'll have lunch at a local family home in Lao Chai or near the river, then keep hiking through mountains to Ta Van village home to the Dzay people. You'll stay at a local homestay for the night and experience how they live and work.

Trekking to Sapa
Breakfast at the homestay around 8 AM gets you going, then at 9:30 AM you'll trek 8 km through bamboo forests visiting Red Dzao and H'mong villages including Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan. You'll see a waterfall and rattan bridge while taking in mountain scenery, then walk to the main road where a jeep picks you up and brings you back to Sapa by about 3 PM. The rest of your day is free to rest and relax.

Moana Check-in Area and Fansipan Cable Car
Have breakfast at your hotel with free time for coffee in Sapa or at your homestay. Your guide picks you up at 8:30 AM to walk to Moana, a unique spot with man-made structures blending into nature and seven attractions like a Bali-style gate, infinity lake, golden hand, death swing, and a lonely tree. Then transfer to Fansipan Cable Car to ride the world's longest cable car up 3,143-meter Fansipan Peak in about 25 minutes, seeing views of Sapa, Muong Hoa valley, and surrounding forests before heading back down.

Cat Cat Village and Return to Hanoi
After hotel breakfast, your driver takes you to Cat Cat gate at 9:30 AM for a short trek to Cat Cat village, where Black H'mong people live in a valley below Fansipan Peak. Your local guide shows you daily village activities, takes you down to the valley waterfall where the French built a historic power station, stops for photos at the bridge and falls, then walks you back up to meet your bus by noon. You'll have lunch in Sapa center with free time for coffee or shopping, then transfer to Hanoi by limousine at 2:00-2:30 PM, reaching your hotel or Noi Bai Airport.
