Vancouver
Today's a full day exploring Vancouver starting with a sightseeing tour that takes you through Stanley Park to see the intricately carved totem poles, then down to the waterfront area and historic Gastown. After that, you'll head to Granville Island before making your way to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park where you can walk across the 70-metre bridge hanging above the Capilano River.

You board the Rocky Mountaineer train today and settle into your GoldLeaf carriage as the journey begins through the Fraser Valley. From there you'll follow the Thompson River on your way to Kamloops, where you'll spend the night and continue this rail experience tomorrow.

Banff to Jasper
Today you travel north along the Icefields Parkway, passing rugged peaks, glaciers, thick forests, and clear lakes. You'll stop at Columbia Icefield, North America's largest sub-polar ice pack, and climb aboard an Ice Explorer to travel onto the Athabasca Glacier which is about 300 metres thick. By evening you'll be in Jasper National Park.

Kelowna to Whistler
Today's drive winds along the Nicola River and through sandstone chasms before following the Thompson and Fraser rivers. You'll pass by Lillooet and continue to Whistler, an alpine resort where you'll stay for two nights.

Today's highlight is Niagara Falls. You'll board a cruise that takes you right to the foot of Horseshoe Falls where you can feel the mist around you. Afterward, you'll visit the historic village of Niagara-on-the-Lake before heading back to Toronto for a welcome dinner this evening.

Starting at the CN Tower, you'll go up to the top for views across Toronto. From there you'll travel up University Avenue to see the Parliament Buildings, Queens Park, and the museum row. Later you'll head east along Lake Ontario to Kingston and board a cruise through the Thousand Islands region before continuing to Ottawa for a two-night stay.
