Itinerary
- Day 1
Bristol to Stratford-upon-Avon
You'll leave Bristol this morning and head through the Wye Valley, where Tintern Abbey is your first stop (entrance is included). The ruined monastery sits beautifully along the river, and you'll have time to walk around and see the Gothic arches and cloisters. After that, you're driving into Ross-on-Wye where there's free time to grab lunch and walk around the town a bit. Then it's on to Broadway, a small Cotswolds village with stone cottages and a main street worth strolling through. By evening you'll arrive in Stratford-upon-Avon. The night is yours to do what interests you most, whether that's visiting Shakespeare's birthplace, checking out Holy Trinity Church where he's buried, or catching a show at the Royal Shakespeare Company if you can get tickets.

- Day 2
Stratford-upon-Avon to Oxford to Bristol
Starting at Blenheim Palace, which is a UNESCO site and honestly one of the largest stately homes in England (admission is included). You'll tour the palace and grounds, seeing the rooms and gardens. Lunch is available on site, so you can eat there before heading to Oxford in the afternoon. Once in Oxford, you have free time to wander around the university city. There's quite a bit to see if you're interested, from college buildings and Harry Potter filming spots to the Ashmolean Museum and Oxford Castle. Later you'll drive back to Bristol where the tour finishes up.
