Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Bangkok
You'll land in Bangkok and connect with your private guide at the airport. From there, it's a transfer to your hotel where your guide helps with check-in and gets you settled for the next phase of your trip.

Bangkok
Start the day with a private guided tour hitting Bangkok's key temples and palaces. The Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha come first, then you'll head to Wat Pho to see the Reclining Buddha. After lunch, you'll take a water taxi over to Wat Arun, known as the Dawn Temple, which sits along the river.

Bangkok
This morning you're up early for Maeklong Railway Market, where vendors quickly pack up when trains roll through several times daily. By midday, you'll move to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and cruise through by long-tail boat to see the floating village. Evening brings street food exploration in local areas, finishing in Chinatown for Chinese-Thai desserts.

Bangkok to Siem Reap
You'll have free time in Bangkok before heading to the airport with your guide. After flying to Siem Reap, your guide meets you and helps with hotel check-in. The rest of the day is yours to wander around this city at whatever pace works for you.

Siem Reap
Starting at the West Gate of Angkor Thom, you'll walk through its ancient temples including Bayon Temple with its 200 carved stone faces, plus Baphuon, Phimeanakas, and the Terraces. Later in the afternoon, you'll move to Angkor Wat itself and stay until sunset from Phnom Bakheng for the views over the complex.

Siem Reap
There's an optional sunrise viewing over Angkor Wat early on, followed by a morning visit to a local pagoda to chat with monks if you're interested. You'll then see Banteay Srei Temple known for its detailed carving, then Banteay Samre with its distinctive rose-colored stone. After eating, you'll check out Ta Prohm and Banteay Kdei temples before having free time later in the afternoon.

You're heading to Tonle Sap, the region's largest freshwater lake, and exploring Kompong Phluk Floating Village with its stilted houses surrounded by mangroves. You'll tour the community and visit a local children's school by boat. Later, you'll transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang, then continue to Hoi An where your guide helps with check-in and you have time to look around.

Hoi An
Walking through this historic town, you'll visit the Chinese Assembly Hall, temples, and 16th-century houses, plus the famous Japanese Covered Bridge. Then you'll do the Fishermen and Waterways eco-tour where you'll learn traditional fishing methods and paddle through coconut-palm waterways in Vietnamese bamboo basket boats, getting hands-on with local practices.

A private transfer takes you to Da Nang airport for your flight to Hanoi. Once you land, your guide meets you and transfers you to your hotel, handling check-in so your arrival goes smoothly.

Hanoi
Your day covers Hanoi's major sites starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex including his Mausoleum and former stilt-house. You'll then see Hoa Lo Prison, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature from 1070. After lunch, the Museum of Ethnology shows life-size structures representing Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. The day finishes with a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter's busy streets and a traditional Water Puppets Show.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast, you'll drive about 3 hours to Halong City and board a traditional Vietnamese junk for your one-and-a-half-day cruise. You'll cruise around limestone islets and caves, catch the sunset from the deck, and have dinner onboard. Meals are included, and you can opt for swimming, kayaking, or diving if you want.

Halong Bay to Hanoi
Early morning brings a sunrise viewing over the bay with tai chi on the sundeck. You'll then cruise with your choice of kayaking or rowing boat exploration to see local life on the water. By 10:30 am, you'll disembark at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port and drive back to Hanoi, which takes roughly 3 hours.
