    Arrival in Bangkok

    You'll arrive in Bangkok and get picked up at the airport by your private guide. They'll help you with your luggage and get you checked into your hotel. UME includes a local SIM card with unlimited 5G and 100 THB calling credit, so you're set for staying connected during your trip.

  2. Day 2

    Bangkok Markets and Grand Palace

    Your guide picks you up at 8:00 am to head to Maeklong Railway Market, traveling by local train through the market itself. From there, you'll take a long tail boat to Damnoen Saduak floating market. Back in Bangkok, you'll walk through the Grand Palace to learn about its ceremonial spaces and see the Emerald Buddha. The day wraps up with sunset drinks at a rooftop café that overlooks Wat Arun.

  3. Day 3

    Ayutthaya Historical Park and Chao Phraya River Cruise

    You'll drive about 1.5 hours out to Ayutthaya, the former capital and a UNESCO site. Here you'll check out temple ruins like Wat Yai Chaimongkol with its 28-meter reclining Buddha and Wat Mahathat, known for its Buddha head surrounded by tree roots. You'll try local snacks such as Roti Sai Mai, then grab a buffet lunch and take a river cruise back to Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River.

    An internal flight takes you north to Chiang Rai, which sits in Thailand's Golden Triangle area. Your private guide meets you when you land and brings you to your hotel for check-in.

  5. Day 5

    Golden Triangle and Doi Tung Royal Palace

    This 8-hour tour kicks off around 8:00 to 8:30 am. You'll go to the Golden Triangle viewpoint where the Mekong and Ruak rivers meet at the borders of Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand. The Opium Museum gives you insight into opium production history in the region. Later you'll have lunch during a Mae Kong River boat cruise, then continue to Doi Tung Royal Palace and Mae Fah Luang Garden to finish out the day.

    Blue Temple, Black House, White Temple to Chiang Mai

    Starting around 8:30 am, this 6-hour journey heads toward Chiang Mai. You'll see the Blue Temple with its bold interior paintings and large white Buddha, then move on to the Black House for a contrast in style and artistic vision. The famous White Temple comes next, mixing traditional Buddhist art with modern design elements. Before reaching Chiang Mai, you'll stop at a relaxing hot spring. Evening time is free to walk around the Night Bazaar for handicrafts and street food.

    Chiang Mai Old City Temples and Doi Suthep Mountain

    Your 8-hour tour starts at 8:00 am exploring Chiang Mai's old city. You'll visit Wat Pra Singh, one of more than 200 temples here, to see excellent Lanna architecture, and Wat Chedi Luang with its massive partially-destroyed pagoda. Warorot Market lets you see how locals shop and live. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll drive about an hour to Doi Suthep Mountain. You can climb 309 steps or take a tram (small fee) to reach Wat Phra That, one of Northern Thailand's most important temples, where you get panoramic views of the city.

    Thai Cooking Class at Mama Noi

    You'll take a 4-hour cooking class at Mama Noi's open-air kitchen, choosing between an 8:30 am morning session or 3:30 pm afternoon session. You'll tour a local market and organic farm with herb gardens, then cook three dishes like Pad Thai, Green Curry, or Tom Kha Gai. Throughout the class you'll have fresh fruits, refreshments, and dessert.

    Elephant Jungle Sanctuary

    You'll head to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary for a half-day experience, with pick-ups around 6:00 am or 11:30 am depending on your preference. The drive takes you through agricultural areas to the sanctuary where you'll change into traditional Karen clothing. You'll feed elephants bananas and sugar cane, walk alongside them learning their individual stories, and interact with them at your own pace. After this, you return to your hotel with the rest of your day free.

    Your private guide picks you up for an 8 to 9 hour boat tour, helping with your things and taking photos along the way. After boarding and having complimentary coffee, tea, and dessert, you'll explore Ao Phang Nga National Park with time to snorkel and swim. You'll canoe through stalactite caves at Panak Island and check out hidden caves and lagoons at Hong Island while spotting wild monkeys.
