Arrival in Sintra
You'll arrive at your historic quinta in Sintra where your host greets you with welcome drinks and appetizers. Spend the afternoon exploring Sintra's charming streets or relaxing in the hotel gardens. Later you'll join the group for a welcome dinner where you'll meet your fellow travelers.

Sintra
This morning your guide takes you through Sintra's colorful streets, sharing the town's myths and local legends along the way. You'll visit Quinta da Regaleira to see its secret tunnels, spiral wells, and cryptic symbols. After a Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant, you head to Pena Palace for a guided tour through its gardens and royal history, with sweeping views across the landscape.

Lisbon
Start the day in multicultural Mouraria where fado music fills the streets, then move to the lively Baixa district for views of the Tagus River. Finish in Alfama, Lisbon's oldest neighborhood, where you'll have a private fado performance and light tapas lunch. You can return to the hotel with the group or explore Lisbon on your own and take a taxi back.

Landmarks/POIs Mouraria Baixa Alfama - Day 4
Alentejo Wine Region & Évora
You'll escape to a vineyard and cork forest, riding in a jeep through the sprawling estate to learn about cork production. Lunch comes with wine tastings of Alentejo's regional wines. Later you head to the charming town of Évora to visit the Chapel of Bones, explore the main square, and browse cork-filled boutiques before returning to Sintra.

Today is yours to do what you like. Check out Sintra's lesser-known palaces, grab a pastel de nata at a local café, take a walk through Belém's seaside neighborhood, or shop in Chiado. Your trip host can share ideas based on what interests you.

Landmarks/POIs Belém Chiado - Day 6
Azeitão, Sesimbra & Lisbon
Visit a dairy farm in Azeítão to see how creamy cheese is produced and try it fresh. You'll sample Muscat wines at one of the region's oldest family-run wineries, then learn traditional techniques while painting your own tiles at a local workshop to take home. Drive to the coastal village of Sesimbra for leisurely lunch, then stop at the Christ the King statue for views of Lisbon before heading back.

Sintra to Porto via Óbidos
You'll leave Sintra and head toward Porto with a stop in the medieval hilltop town of Óbidos. Walk through flower-draped alleys, browse bookshops and artisan boutiques, and climb the castle walls for views of the surrounding landscape. Later you continue to Porto in the evening with time to explore on your own.

Porto
Join a guided food tour of Porto where your guide tells you about 'The Invincible City' and shows you hidden local gems while sampling regional delicacies. After the tour, explore Porto on your own. Book lovers should visit Livraria Lello, one of the world's most beautiful bookstores.

Douro Valley Wine Region
You'll experience the Douro Valley wine region, boarding a private boat for a relaxing cruise along the Douro River. Visit a quinta for Douro wine history and tastings, then enjoy a 3-course lunch paired with wines. Head to another quinta to sample Porto wines with chocolate pairings, then cruise back to Porto as the day winds down.
