Itinerary
- Day 1
Paris
You'll arrive in Paris and have the whole day to explore however you want. Wander through the streets at your own pace, checking out iconic spots like the Eiffel Tower and Champs-Élysées. This gives you a chance to get a feel for the city before your organized activities start tomorrow. Take your time and don't worry about fitting everything in right away.

- Day 2
Paris
After breakfast, you've got choices for the day. Either join a guided coach tour through different Paris neighborhoods, passing by the Louvre and Palais Garnier, or head to Montmartre on your own to explore the artistic area with its cobblestone streets and local artists. There's also a vineyard in the neighborhood if you're interested. Pick whatever appeals to you most.

Paris to Bordeaux
Following breakfast, you'll head to the train station to catch a high-speed train heading to Bordeaux. Once you arrive, you'll board the Scenic Diamond river cruise ship and get settled in. From there, you'll begin your 7-night voyage along the waterways through the Bordeaux wine region.

- Day 4
Libourne
Spend the morning cruising into Libourne, a port town that dates back to the 13th century. In the afternoon, travel to the nearby medieval village of Saint-Émilion, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its wineries, historic buildings, and as the place where macarons originated. You'll stay overnight in Libourne where two rivers meet.

- Day 5
Libourne
You have several options for exploring around Libourne. Walk through the fortified harbor town, visit local châteaux for wine tastings, check out a sturgeon farm to learn about caviar production, or tour a restored 19th-century mill where you can learn bread-making. Later in the afternoon, relax on the ship as it heads toward Blaye.

Blaye
The ship arrives in Blaye, home to a UNESCO World Heritage citadel built to protect Bordeaux from attack. During the day, you can choose between a guided walk through the city or a more active tour of the citadel's defense systems. Later, there's a concert at Château d'Agassac featuring classical music from a string quartet in the spectacular 13th-century setting.

Bourg
You'll wake up at Fort Médoc in the northern part of the Médoc wine region, where some of the world's best Cabernet Sauvignon wines come from. Choose to explore by coach or e-bike while sampling wines at local estates. After lunch on board, the ship sails to the village of Bourg sitting on a rocky hilltop. From there, visit the Carriages Museum, take a cycling tour along the scenic Captain's Road, or do a wine tasting at a local estate.

Bordeaux to Cadillac
You'll depart Bordeaux early in the morning and cruise along the Garonne River to Cadillac, a 13th-century fortified city centered around an impressive château. Pick from a coach tour of the Sauternes wine region with tastings, an e-bike cycling trip through rolling vineyards where you'll learn about wine production, or a walking tour through medieval Cadillac's narrow streets and marketplace.

This is your final day, and you wake in Bordeaux with several options to choose from. Take a guided tour of highlights like the Gothic cathedral and Place de la Bourse, cycle through historic neighborhoods while sampling canelés, or shop at a local market with the ship's chef before taking a French cooking class at the Scenic Culinaire school. Spend the rest of your afternoon freely exploring the waterfront, the Golden Triangle district for shopping and architecture, or visiting La Cité du Vin wine museum.
