Tromso
You'll touch down in Tromso, your gateway to the Arctic. After settling into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace or simply relax and get oriented to this northern location.

- Day 2
Tromso
Today you'll check out Polaria, the world's northernmost aquarium, where you can see bearded seals and walk through the Arctic Walkway exhibition. If you're interested, there's an optional cable car ride up Mount Storsteinen that gives you panoramic views across the region. Otherwise, the afternoon is free to wander around town.

Tromso to Andenes
This is a full day trip, roughly 8 hours total. An Arctic bus takes you through small villages and across beautiful Arctic landscapes. You'll stop at Sommaroy island hotel, a few quiet villages, scenic waterfront areas, and Ersfjord Beach before heading through forests to Gryllefjord. From there, you switch to a ferry toward Andenes and keep your eyes open for whales during this route. By evening you're in Andenes with time to yourself.

- Day 4
Andenes to Svolvaer
The morning in Andenes is free, and there's an optional whale watching boat tour if that interests you. Later you'll board a 4.5-hour bus headed for Svolvaer in the Lofoten Islands. Along the way you pass through Marmelkroken and stop at the Stokmarknes Hurtigruten Museum. You'll arrive in Svolvaer around 21:30, so it's a fairly full travel day.

- Day 5
Svolvaer
Your morning features an included cruise through Trollfjord on a hybrid-electric silent vessel, which is better for spotting wildlife since it's quieter. Watch for white-tailed eagles above the water. After you're back, spend the afternoon exploring Svolvaer on your own before heading to the pier for an overnight cruise back to Tromso.

Tromso
You'll arrive back in Tromso during the early afternoon after your overnight voyage. The rest of your final full day is free for exploring the city however you'd like, whether that's checking out neighborhoods you missed or grabbing a good meal.

Departure
After breakfast and checking out of your hotel, your tour ends. You'll head to the airport on your own, though there's an optional transfer available if you'd rather arrange that for an additional cost.
