- Day 1MedellinYou'll arrive and meet the group for a briefing at the hostel, then take a guided walk through Comuna 13 to see street art and learn about the urban renewal happening there. After grabbing lunch at a local food market, your guide shares some Spanish terms while you check out iconic spots like Plaza Botero and the Cathedral. For the evening, you can pick what sounds good: paragliding, catching a local football match, trying the traditional game of Tejo, or salsa dancing in El Poblado. - Day 2GuatapéStart early with locally brewed Colombian coffee, then head out to the vibrant town of Guatapé. You'll climb 740 steps to reach the top of Peñol-Guatape Reservoir, where panoramic views of the lakes and surrounding mountains spread out below you. After exploring the town, you'll kayak through the scenic reservoir with colorful houses dotting the shoreline. - Day 3Medellin to SalentoRise early for a minivan ride to Salento in the Coffee Triangle, which takes about 7 hours. When you arrive, you'll meet your tour leader. At Finca El Ocaso coffee farm, you get hands-on picking coffee beans, learning how the coffee-making process works, and tasting what you just brewed. After that, the rest of your time in this colonial town is yours to wander around and explore at your own pace. Included Activities- Minivan transfer to Salento

- Day 4Salento to CaliTravel by bus to Cali, known for its energetic salsa music and mountain views. You'll meet your tour leader at the hostel in late morning, then have free time to either relax by the pool or explore on your own. Later in the afternoon, walk through Cali's vibrant atmosphere including Plaza de Caycedo with its towering palms and the Catedral Metropolitana. You'll get into the city's salsa culture and see street art reflecting the local artistic expression. The evening is yours: hit one of the city's best clubs if you want to dance, or do something else entirely. - Day 5Cali to BogotaSpend your morning relaxing by the pool or soaking up some sun. In the afternoon, you'll travel to Cali airport for your flight to Bogota, which sits high in the Andes Mountains. Once you land, the rest of the day is open for you to explore the city however you'd like. Included Activities- Flight from Cali to Bogota

- Day 6BogotaA cycling tour takes you through Bogota's historic districts including La Candelaria, Plaza Bolívar, the Cathedral, and the Presidential Palace. You'll stop at a traditional fruit market to taste exotic Colombian fruits like lulo and passion fruit while riding through charming neighborhoods. From there, you cycle through modern districts and national parks, then shift to a graffiti tour discovering Colombia's history through street art. You'll visit galleries, see artwork, and even try spray painting yourself. A funicular ride up Monserrate Mountain gets you to 3000 meters for sweeping views, and you'll explore the church at the top. Your evening is free for clubs, entertainment, or just taking it easy. - Day 7Bogota to CuscoHead to the airport in the morning for your direct flight to Cusco, the heart of the Incan Empire and your gateway to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. You'll arrive in the afternoon and take a guided walk through Cusco's historic center, visiting Plaza de Armas, the Cusco Cathedral, and San Pedro Market. Later, dinner with fellow travelers gives you a chance to try traditional Peruvian dishes. - Meals

- Day 8Inca/Salkantay Trail StartYour 4-day hike through the Andes toward Machu Picchu begins with a leisurely pace so you can acclimatize while taking in the Andean landscapes. You'll carry just a day bag while your larger luggage gets transported. By evening, camp is set up and the trekking team has prepared a meal. You'll rest under a star-filled sky with views of the Milky Way stretching overhead. - Meals

The landscape shifts between lush forests, rocky cliffs, and vibrant flora. Keep an eye out for hummingbirds and giant condors, since this region is known for its colorful birdlife. - Meals

- Day 11Machu Picchu & Return to CuscoAn early start gets you to Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the world. This 15th-century Incan citadel perches atop an Andean peak and served as a royal estate and ceremonial center. Spanish conquest led to its abandonment, and it stayed forgotten for over 400 years until Hiram Bingham rediscovered it in the early 20th century. You'll take in the views over Machu Picchu, then begin your return journey to Cusco. Your evening is yours to unwind and explore. Many people choose a relaxing massage after four days of trekking. - Meals

- Day 12CuscoThe morning is yours to experience this city at your own pace. Take a walk through the streets, pop into a café, have a traditional Peruvian breakfast, or explore the Plaza de Armas and San Pedro Market to see how locals live. In the afternoon, meet with the group to visit Sacsayhuamán, an Incan fortress on a hill overlooking Cusco. Its impressive stone walls and advanced masonry techniques are on full display, plus you get spectacular valley views from up there. - Day 13Cusco to PunoYou'll travel to Puno along the Route of the Sun (Ruta del Sol), a scenic route connecting Cusco and Puno with beautiful Andean landscapes, historic ruins, and cultural landmarks. Rainbow Mountain appears next, one of Peru's most spectacular natural wonders. A moderate hike of about an hour and a half takes you to the summit where vibrant, multi-colored terrain created by centuries of geological activity spreads across the landscape. After descending, you continue on to Puno. Once you arrive at Lake Titicaca's shores, the rest of your day is yours to explore the town. - Day 14Lake TiticacaAn included boat ride takes you onto UNESCO-listed Lake Titicaca, one of Peru's most famous natural wonders. You'll soak up the Andean scenery and visit the floating reed islands of the indigenous Uros people. Their tradition of living on the water started as protection against Inca attacks, and it's a practice that's continued all these centuries.
