Paris to Lucerne
Head through the rural French countryside of Burgundy with its famous vineyards, pass the Jura Mountains, and cross into Switzerland. You'll arrive in lakeside Lucerne by evening. Pick from hand-picked local restaurants for your Dine-Around Evening and try different spots.

Lucerne
Ride an open-top solar-powered cable car up Mount Stanserhorn and walk scenic pathways looking for marmots. A Swiss ranger will give you a talk about local wildlife and plants, and on clear days you'll see panoramic views toward Alsace and the Black Forest. Back in Lucerne, visit the Lion Monument, walk across the covered Chapel Bridge to the Jesuit Church, then spend the rest of the day in the Old Town looking for chocolate and Swiss watches.

Lucerne to Innsbruck
Travel into the Alps through the Principality of Liechtenstein and see Vaduz with its castle sitting on a hillside. Then cross into Austria and arrive in Innsbruck, surrounded by mountains. Your Travel Director will walk you through the Old Town, pointing out 14th-century houses, the Imperial Palace, and the famous Golden Roof.

- Day 7
Innsbruck to Venice
Cross the impressive Europa Bridge and drive through the Dolomites into Italy. Stop at a local family winery in Veneto to learn how prosecco gets made and taste these sparkling wines, including a Bellini lesson. Later you'll continue to Venice. After the day-trippers leave, you'll experience the peaceful atmosphere of the islands and dine at a local restaurant.
