Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Dublin

You'll arrive in Dublin and start exploring right away. The Guinness Storehouse is a must-see, where you can learn about the beer's history and enjoy a pint at the Gravity Bar with views over the city. After that, head to Temple Bar where the streets come alive with traditional music pouring out of pubs, crowds of locals and visitors, and that particular Irish energy you've probably heard about. The whole area feels bustling and full of character, perfect for getting a feel for the city's vibe on your first evening.

    Included Activities

    • Guinness Storehouse admission

  2. Day 2

    Belfast

This morning you'll travel to Belfast with your driver, who'll give you a guided tour of the city along the way. Once there, the Titanic Experience takes you through the ship's construction and tragic history in detail. Later in the evening, you'll walk around the historical streets where music venues and bars dot the neighborhoods, giving you a sense of Belfast's cultural scene and contemporary energy mixed with its complex past.

  3. Day 3

    Belfast to Derry

The drive along the Causeway Coastal Route offers you great views as you head toward Giant's Causeway, where thousands of black basalt columns rise from the ground in geometric patterns. It's a remarkable sight geologically and visually. From there you'll continue to Derry City, and the Museum of Free Derry provides substantial context about the city's role in modern Irish history. You'll see the old walled city itself, which still stands today with its historic layout largely intact.

  4. Days 4 - 5

    Donegal

County Donegal offers rugged coastal and mountain scenery as you travel through with your guide. Glenveagh National Park gives way to Slieve League Cliffs, which rise dramatically from the sea and rival anything you'll see elsewhere on the Irish coast. Killybegs is a working fishing village where you can see the practical side of coastal life. Back in Donegal town for the night, you'll find traditional music in the pubs and local seafood on the menus, with musicians playing and locals chatting in accents thick enough to keep you listening carefully.

  5. Day 6

    Mayo

You'll drive through County Mayo's green countryside toward Westport, passing farmland and open moorland. Croagh Patrick is the main draw here, a mountain with religious significance where you can hike to the top or simply take in its shape from the base. Clew Bay spreads out nearby with water views, and if you head toward Achill, the cliffs there rise sharply from the ocean. Dún Briste is a sea stack offshore, and the Stags of Broadhaven add to the dramatic coastal landscape you'll see today.

  6. Day 7

    Midlands

Sean's Bar in Athlone holds the record as Ireland's oldest pub with verified records going back to around 900 AD, and you can actually see wattle and wicker from the ninth century built into the walls. Athlone Castle, constructed in the 12th century, sits nearby with stone walls and courtyards offering views of the town and river. After exploring these sites with some history and local knowledge, you'll head back toward Dublin for your last night, giving you time to settle in before your departure tomorrow.
