  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Cairo

    Your private chauffeur will be waiting when you arrive to take you to the Mena House Hotel in Cairo. It's a five-star property, and you'll have time to settle in and freshen up. This evening, raise a glass to kick off your Egypt luxury tour.

  2. Day 2

    Saqqara and Memphis

    An Egyptologist joins you to explore Saqqara's ancient monuments. You'll see the Pyramid of King Zoser up close, stand in front of the colossal statue of Ramses II, and check out the great Alabaster Sphinx. The scale of these structures really hits different when you're standing right there.

  3. Day 3

    Karnak to Luxor

    Head to Karnak and walk through the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes with your guide, who'll explain the history as you go. The Hypostyle Hall's towering columns are something else. Later, you'll board the River Tosca to begin your Nile cruise, heading south toward Luxor.

    Dendera and Luxor Temple

    In the morning, visit the Temple of Hathor in Dendera. You can join a yoga class on the ship if you want to start the day that way, or meet the River Tosca's Captain. This afternoon, head to the Temple of Luxor for an exclusive after-hours VIP tour when most visitors have left.

In the afternoon, a local family will show you how they bake traditional sun bread, and you'll enjoy it with Egyptian tea. Later, join a galabeya party on the river and mix with other travelers dressed in traditional clothing.

    Tour the double-temple of Kom Ombo. You can either take a private sail around Kitchener's Island or spend time at Aswan Market shopping for souvenirs. Meet women from the local co-op, then head to the famous Old Cataract Hotel for afternoon tea. Tonight, there's a Nubian performance on board.

    Aswan High Dam and Philae

    See the Aswan High Dam, then walk through the ancient Granite Quarries to understand how Egyptians cut and moved massive stones. After that, you'll tour the Philae temple complex on an island in the Nile. Dinner features Egyptian classics, followed by a sound and light show right at the temple.

Otherwise, you can attend talks about powerful women in Egyptian history or learn how to mix a proper Egyptian cocktail. It's your call how to spend the time.

    Cairo

    Back in Cairo, visit the Alabaster Mosque and the Citadel of Salah El-Din. Both are impressive from a historical and architectural standpoint. Then go to the Grand Egyptian Museum to see Tutankhamun's treasures. The tour ends with celebratory drinks to mark the end of your time in Egypt.

For tours departing after March 22nd, 2026, a minimum payment of $350 is required to confirm your booking with Luxury Gold. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
