    Your private chauffeur picks you up and drives you to Cairo's Mena House Hotel, a five-star property where you'll settle in and have a toast to kick off your Egypt tour.

  2. Day 2

    Giza

    With your Egyptologist guide, you'll start exploring ancient sites around Cairo. The itinerary includes the Step Pyramid of King Zoser at Saqqara, the colossal statue of Ramses II, and the Alabaster Sphinx at Giza. You'll cover a lot of ground, so bring comfortable walking shoes and plenty of water.

    Cairo to Luxor

    You'll walk through the massive temple complex of Karnak, including the avenue lined with ram-headed sphinxes and the towering columns of the Hypostyle Hall. From there, you'll board the River Tosca for the start of your luxury Nile cruise, heading south toward Luxor.

    This morning you'll see the engineering of the Aswan High Dam and walk through the ancient Granite Quarries. From there, you'll head to the Philae temple complex, which is well-preserved and worth the trip. Dinner features Egyptian classics, and afterward you'll watch a sound and light show that illuminates Philae Temple at night.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
