The Best of Greece was an excellent tour: a good mix of antiquity sites, cultural activities and scenery. Our bus driver was excellent and always provided the best possible service to our group. Our tour director was simply the best! Nikos was perfectly organised and gently spoken but he had a wonderful sense of humour and was full of interesting information.

Great tour directors. Also experienced drivers and good excursions. The cruise ship could use some upgrading. Our toilet wasn’t working. Would have been nice to have an outside room. The buffet wasn’t very good. The stops on the land tour could have had better bathrooms - no seats, no toilet paper.

Even though the tour group was a very large group, the tour travel director and well being director did and excellent job handling the group. The travel director did an outstanding job of setting up the site visits and providing us with historical information. The guide chose to entertain us with his voice rather than explaining very much about the sites that we visited. He walked us through museums never giving us time to visit on our own. He sat us down to listen to him while a storm was approaching, so we virtually had no time to see the site at Olympia. At Delphi he again sat us down to ramble. If we hadn't left the group, I doubt we would have seen much of this site either. He would on occasion ask questions that turned out to be rhetorical because he did not want to acknowledge anyone who actually had info to share. As to the Amalia Hotels, they were very basic and in most places did not even include Kleenex or wash cloths in the the room. Since they also seem to be on a set menu at all the spots, seeing the same breakfast day after day was boring. The eggs were always cold, the bacon not fully cooked. Additionally, some locations were so far out of town, that there was really no chance to explore the area. Trapped Lunch on our own turned out to be "Eat here and pay for it" We did not have the opportunity to go elsewhere. In all, I was very disappointed with the tour. I plan to send this info on to Trafalgar
