Itinerary
- Day 1
Chiang Mai to Mae Kampong
You'll start your day at 8:30am with a scenic minivan ride through mountain landscapes heading toward Mae Kampong. On the way, there's a stop at a local market where you can pick out ingredients you'll cook later for dinner. Once you arrive in the village, local residents welcome you and introduce you to what makes the area special. Most people here grow bai miang tea plants, coffee, and aromatic mushrooms, while others focus on handcrafted items like decorated pillows, rattan baskets, and bamboo furniture. After settling in, you'll take a trek around the village and can choose which areas interest you most. Lunch happens at your homestay or as a picnic depending on what works for your group, and if you want, there's time for a traditional massage. The day wraps up with dinner and an overnight stay at your village homestay.

- Day 2
Mae Kampong to Chiang Mai
This morning starts early at 7:00am when you head to the village temple with your host to offer alms to monks. After that, your host prepares breakfast for you. From there, you'll explore the community and watch how locals make traditional hats, bamboo furniture, bamboo handicrafts, and herbal products. You'll also see how they ferment aged tea leaves. Later in the day, you drive to San Kamphaeng Hot Spring to see the naturally heated water that reaches 100 degrees Celsius coming from underground sources. After this, you'll head back to Chiang Mai city, which takes about an hour, and you should arrive around noon.
