- Day 1
London to Amsterdam
Your Contiki group kicks off in London where you'll meet everyone. From there, you're heading to the coast to see the White Cliffs of Dover, then catching a ferry across to Calais. The route takes you north through Belgium before landing in Amsterdam. After an included group dinner, the rest of the evening is yours to check out the city's bars and nightlife scene.

Amsterdam
Amsterdam is all yours today. Wander around the famous canals, pop into the unique museums, and soak up the café culture. Try local food like pancakes, frites, and stroopwafels, or head to a local cheese farm if you want to do the optional dinner. Later on, you can join an iconic canal cruise with a bar on board if that sounds good to you.

Amsterdam to Rhine Valley
After leaving Amsterdam, you're heading to Germany. There's a lunch stop in Cologne, then the drive takes you through scenic landscapes with fairy-tale castles, vineyards, and valleys scattered around. By evening you'll arrive in the Rhine Valley, a charming town where you'll stay and do some wine tasting.

Rhine Valley to Munich
Leaving the Rhine Valley behind, you're off to Munich. On the way, you'll visit a medieval Bavarian town with cobblestoned streets, busy market squares, and traditional half-timbered houses. There's a chance to see the famous Glockenspiel and soak up the Bavarian culture. You can ride a bicycle through the area if you're interested, and then you'll reach Munich with its beer halls, gingerbread-style architecture, and traditional dress.

Munich to Venice
The route takes you through the Bavarian Alps past fairy-tale castles and vineyards as you head toward Austria. Innsbruck is your lunch stop, a laid-back student city with a medieval old town, the Olympic Ski Jump, and a Royal Palace. Later you'll pass through Trento in the Adige Valley before arriving in Venice. You'll have the entire next day to check out this famous city, so settle in for the evening.

Venice
Today you're exploring Venice's floating city. Your private motoscafo boat cruise winds through the canals to get you to the historical center. From there, you can take a traditional gondola ride, learn gondola steering from instructors, or join a guided food tour to see what the city has to offer.

Venice to Lauterbrunnen
Leaving Venice, you're heading to Switzerland. The drive passes Lake Como as you cruise out of Italy toward the Swiss Alps. You'll arrive at a traditional resort town tucked in the mountains where you're staying for two nights. The evening wraps up with a group dinner together.

Lauterbrunnen
Wake up to incredible views right from your room in this classic European mountain town. The day is yours to explore at your own pace and wander around. If you're up for something more adventurous, you can optionally visit Jungfrau mountain, known as 'the Top of the World'.

Lauterbrunnen to Paris
Time to leave the mountains and head to Paris. You're crossing the border from Switzerland back into France, passing through Burgundy wine country along the way. By evening you'll arrive in the City of Lights for a night-time tour featuring lamp-lit bridges, the sparkling Eiffel Tower, and evening coffee spots around the city.

Paris
